The ability to keep the voices in Blue Fields so clear and concise was like virtuosic. It was like 2 guitars playing at once.
It's kinda funny how Edward is a universally hated character but his theme is universally adored.
Excuse the language, but this was fucking amazing.
This took me to a time in my youth where I would spend hours upon hours of getting lost in these fantastical worlds of Final Fantasy. Makes me truly appreciate how all of that time was not wasted, it went straight to enriching my soul. Thanks John, and keep up the great work.
Spending hours upon hours getting lost in Final Fantasy was one of my favourite things to do in these games, which goes to show how great Final Fantasy is.
yeh some dungeons were insane, there was no high quality shadow effect but the fear built up.

There is a special ache reserved inside our hearts for soundtracks in games. The music unconsciously wraps its way around you whilst you advance through the game; like the way a girl's smell gently surrounds you whilst you fall in love. And then, when the game is complete or the love is gone, years can pass by. But then when you hear it once more, this potent dose of nostalgia catches you off guard and shatters all your defenses. And you are back again, lost in that world of childhood fantasy.

Putting a dash of Vamo Alla Flamenco into Toroian Beauty was just... unbelievably good. It's what it's been missing the whole time and I never knew it.
That's not quite Vamo Alla Flamenco, that's literally the Troian Beauty of XIV arrangement, yes it has a dash similar of Vamo Alla Flamenco (except with a slower and more somber of FFIV Troia, for a dungeon called The Fell Court of Troia, recommend you trying out it, it's great). And Vamo Alla Flamenco is also in XIV as well.

Over a decade ago when I first started guitar as a teen, my very first goal was to play songs from FF and other JRPGs that I was obsessed with. This collection inspired me to get back to it! Just nabbed the sheet music on your Patreon!

Brings back bittersweet memories... My dad used to play guitar quite a bit when I was young, and he loved playing ff games on his old rickty work laptop as well. Listening to this unlocked some deep forgotten but nice memories of him thank you.

Thank you for this. I cried so many times, especially during You're Not Alone. Playing the older titles as a kid, I didn't really completely grasp the concept and themes of those songs and the games. So much fun replaying them as an adult.
you reminded me of old songs i used to play in an online game on instruments as a bard, i had alot of old final fantasy songs and I kinda forgot about them. thank you for reminding me of better times and make me reminisce
What a beautiful collection of Final Fantasy renditions. Honestly listening to these tracks makes me feel as if my soul is being warmed. I listen to it when I rock my daughter to bed and it's so calming to have consistently playing in my house. Please continue to do these Final Fantasy arrangements. These are honestly fantastic.

“The Otherside of the Mountain” is one of my favorites… Final Fantasy I on NES and III on SNES were the sole reasons why I got into music performance and wanted to join a wind ensemble / orchestra. I fell in love with Nubuo Uematsu’s music for decades to come and even watched one of his concerts with him in attendance in Chicago (Arnie Roth conducting) and his music moved me to tears; I’ll never forget it.

Everything in FFVI is perfect. Absolutely perfect.
Playing the only song from V when the video hits double 5's-- brilliant, not sure if it was intentional or not, but a lovely coincidence. Also, wow, what a gorgeous rendition of Home Sweet Home. This is a song I want to play when I walk down the aisle for my wedding and you do it exactly how I'd heard it in my dreams.

How do you isolate the guitar so well from the background noise? Your technique is so incredibly honed, too. You never hear scratches between changing chords quickly up or down the fretboard. Seriously, exceptional skills and sound. I love listening to your music.

I loved the first installment, and the encore is just as good. I love how you handled Celes' theme. It's supposed to be slow and somber but with hope for the second round, and you hit it perfectly.
