I always wondered why the returning enemies like boos, pirahna plants, wigglers, bullet bills or bob-ombs looked very different to what normally do in Super Mario Sunshine.
Super mario bros 3 was made in Japan before usa release doki doki Mario 2. Bob omb was not supposed to be a same guy from mario 2 Of what i heard? Correct ne if i am wrong but bob omb first game was supposed to be mario 3 because made almost same time. Japan's mario 2 was awful...poison mushroom etc. You get the picture? Anyway peace

I think it was because they weren't in the mushroom kingdom in that game.
