Govt must not yield to any pressure.

@@pavan4707 I'm not going to debt about religion or belief. One should understand before speaking, one of the person in this video says school is not the place to practice religion. In history of indian subcontinent people were educated based on religion and religious beliefs or what we call dharma was thought in those schools. The religion was thought in school not just science and language. FYI., Christian was thought through school and missionaries. I hope he forgot that part that was my point. Let say if we agree to what he says is everyone ready to accept it? Offcourse not especially Hindus will come first says we idols to pray. Why not if it makes your mind to focus.
His statement was inappropriate and if he followed Hinduism he would never told that.
FYI., India had lots of belief and language, if you see only Hindu and Muslim then you read it wrong. Northern part of India invaded by various kings and emperor, I don't know from where Hindu came, Wikipedia say Hindu is Indo-Aryan. Aryan were migrants just muslim and Persian. Just because you read some were that hindu exists for 4000 years that doesn't mean you own the entire country.

The truth hurts but that is why it is truth. Jinnah said Hindus and Muslims are two different culture and they can never live together and the two nations are needed so that they can live their own way. He was right so and the only proof you need is read the tweats of the four girls who spew such a venom against Hindus, Sanghis, Indian Judiciary and Modi- the language of ISIS not a 16 year child. All the four girls in her tweet asks Hindus to leave to Nepal . Ambedkar also agreed with Jinnah that Hindus and Muslim has to be exchanged along with geography. That would have really allowed these girls to follow their religion with Burqa and Hindus not having to pay through the tax money for these protests. Gandhi and Nehru failed India by not accepting the people exchange and for ever left India at the mercy of these people. What a shame.

the hijab girl started wearing the hijab very recently and the Udupi Muslims okkoota(which was interviewed) was campaigning for removal of hijab as it was not logical in kundapur. The Hindu jagarana vedike, which caused the initial problem, is an offshoot political party which is the kattar enemy of the bjp and composed of former-bjpwales and wants to prove their Hindu activism. The bjp without option had to support the saffron shawl due to their ideology. The kannada news channels recently interviewed all the parents and the parents feel that their children aren't listening to them, but only to their organisation and are very opinionated-be it Hindu or Muslim. The teachers are getting bashed both sides and this whole controversy is just by a few radical students(not even political parties!?!) and their egos.
It's sickening to see stupid reporting......it's ignorant on the views of students and makes it look like that it is some political war.....this is rather radical students destroying each other. This isn't Kerala or up for political parties to be so powerful....

Lets analyze what the Hindu Scriptures have to speak on modesty ?
It is mentioned in the Rig Veda Book no. 8 Hymn no. 33 V. no. 19
“When Brahma has made you a woman, you should lower your gaze and should not look up. You should put your feet together and you should not reveal what the garment and the veil conceals.”
So the Rig Veda says that the woman should wear the veil.
They should lower their gaze and should not stare.
It is further mentioned in Rig Veda Book no. 10 Hymn no. 85 V. no.30
“Unlovely is the person is the husband who covers his thighs with the garment of his wife. “
So the Rig Veda says that wearing the clothes of the opposite sex is prohibited.
It is further mentioned in the Mahavir Charitra Act 2 Page 71 that
When Purshuram comes, Rama tells his wife Sita that “He is our elder, please lower your gaze, and put on the veil. “
Rama tells his wife Sita to put on the veil and to lower her gaze.
If you read historical books, the books talking about the Coin Age, the Age of the Gupta and the post Gupta age, there are coins , on which there are pictures of the Indain woman wearing the veils and the veil are going upto their shoulders, some go upto the arms. There are many Indian woman in the villages who wear the veils, some of the woman even cover their faces.
So,if you analyze, even the Hindu Scriptures say that a woman should wear the veil. That the woman should lower their gaze.

In a country like India, school and college uniform is of utmost importance because students belong to different religious as well as 'economic backgrounds'. The word uniform is itself evident, it is required for the sake of uniformity and eventually equality and unity. If people want to wear what they want, then they are simply trying to disrupt unity and create their own personal identity.
And constitution does give the right to freedom of religion, but, 'but', 'with respect to public order'. And another fact is that their religion doesn't mandate wearing of hijab or covering head, so I don't know what kind of religious rights are they fighting for.

It’s a question of Freedom of Individual and the Freedom of Public Space . As a person who support Freedom, I am against all the cover up and restrictions on dress whether it is hijab or burqa or pants or full sleeve top or Sari or Ghoonkad , because all these restrictions by religions / society are only for women and will never be apppied for a man ,so I support a individual freedom without the concepts of cover up like hijab . The second question of Freedom of Public Space, there also I will oppose any restrictions on choice of dresses. As a neo liberal myself , even if it is revealed more , it’s just a body and no one should get offended by someone else body . As a secular nation we have the right to keep our public spaces free of religious restrictions. But that will prevent a person who wish to keep the restrictions in his private individual space as well as in public space , so both should not force their ideologies on each other. We should not make our public space compulsory to cover up or compulsory not to cover up. So both the parties can compromise on the middle path ; where they can accept half of liberalism / uniformity and we can accept half of their cover up / identity . So a uniform with hijab should be a compromise from both sides for a public space like School. Even people may be allowed to do a design experiment for a full gown or hijab keeping the colour patterns and designs of a uniform , rather than hate each other in the name of religions.
