I have to chuckle here. Lots of people who ordinarily dislike us poms now backing us because of Eddie. Between our asshole media and Eddie we've had I reckon an increasing amount of flack of the recent years. Makes a nice change this, thanks guys.
Boks and Perfidious Albion bringing strong sides with lots of veterans and both should win handily. Japan is fielding an "A" side, but if they all run and have some luck --- nah, they'll lose, but they might look good losing. Wales is all a bunch of new guys. They gonna get a Rugby lesson. At last, some International Rugby -- it's been way too long since the 6 Nations...
@ 0:15 you suggest Eddie Jones is a master… that’s worth discussing 😆 Some might say he’s been a master baiter of late. Shame it clashes with the Super Rugby final.
Absolutely no disrespect to Japan (under EJ first time round yes but not at the moment) but as an England fan I am not sure this fixture prepares us for the ABs. Maybe we should have played one of the NZ super rugby teams.
@TwoCentsRugby That's it man, always had a soft spot for the Brave Blossoms, but jeez Eddie's a prick of a thing. So going to have to go for England. Irish an Scottish ancestors spining in their graves an all.
Can someone please speak on this new rule where Itoje only has 169 minutes left of play this season? Why are they starting him against Japan unless they sub him off after 9?
Believe it isn't a law, more of an advisory at this stage. cant be a law as you would then be telling club/national teams that they need to play weaker teams at times to make this proposed rule work. Therefore if players like Jamie, Maro, and Ben make themselves available for selection then they can play. Likely means that a few clubs in the prem will be without the stars for a couple weeks at the start of the season, which this year absolutely crippled Saracens who had 9 players (8 of their starting 15) not around due to the world cup for while.
I think culturally the Japanese team suits Eddie's coaching style and I look forward to seeing them grow towards the next world cup. Seeing an inexperienced team sent out against a rising England seems like they'll be starting their journey with a confidence dip. I hope they grow because they Japan play beautiful rugby on their day.
I think you might have to put the phone on airplane mode whilst you're at the final. Just in case you get spoiled the result of the Japan England game. It's gonna be close one!
As a Springboks fan I feel obligated to support anybody playing against England. HOWEVER... What Eddie Jones did to Australia was completely unprofessional and pretty damn shitty.. Japanese rugby will always have my respect. But screw Eddy Jones. Go England!
To be fair he did some good things for you lot in 2007, and heavily respects SA rugby. Nick Mallett said he made that backline tick at that tournament. I’m an England fan, love what he did for us getting us out of the doldrums in 2016-2020 or so, but not huge fan of his - however, I think the Australian board and ARU are to shoulder at least 50% of the blame. It ain’t just Jones. I think they are incredibly difficult, very stubborn and the sport is dying there. Unfortunately I think Aus had become so used to losing it was a habit, and you have to unfortunately move those players who have become perennial losers - both domestically and internationally - on. It bleeds into the mentality of the whole squad if not careful.
Great experience for young players. Cole is not much to go against, gives away penalties too often. Japan runs them around, should be interesting. Rodd is really a Scot who turned his back on his heritage!
Checks notes* Dan Cole who is statistically one of the best scrummaging props over the last 10 years, praised for his ability to create stability gives away too many penalties. Checks notes AGAIN* Bevan Rodd born in Scotland, raised in England and played for England from U16 to first team is a Traitor for not playing for the country he spent a few weeks in. CHECKS NOTES FOR A THIRD time* Supporter suggest someone is a traitor for not playing for a country they were born in whilst referencing a country who's starting 15 has 40% of its players not born in Scotland. Not sure where you alliances are, but regardless of your view try and at least be slightly factual when bring random slander to a channel that is all about none bias positive inputs
How many ‘ Scots’ in their squad have zero Scottish heritage? I’m from Yorkshire incidentally and also have some Scottish in me. Many people in Britain have a mixed heritage. How to handle that?
@@johnhanson5943 Thos guy is extreme. He qualifies for England by ancestry. Too many players are brought in and it makes it harder for native born players to have any chances.
Eddie throwing young players in at the deep end... we have seen this before!
Needs an excuss eh ...
Not that long ago eh?
I think its a comfy win for England, theyve been playing good footy this year
Lost to Scotland scraped past Ireland and Wales.

Funny how the world works eh? I think this England side looks the business aye - looking forward to seeing them have a crack at the ABs soon!
I'm already cringing at the thought of watching this game and seeing Eddie Jones' face.
His debacle last year is unforgivable.
It’s on RugbyPass tv in Australia and I would assume also in NZL
I couldn't see it listed in NZ until I turned on the VPN.... Not sure who has the rights in NZ
Harada was one of the top performers in the japan league this year, as was Yamamoto Kai. Two to keep an eye on.
Cheers for the insights!
Lets go Japan!!
😂😂😂😂

Should be a bit spicy with England & Eddie Jones meeting again but I hope that doesn’t take the focus off the game. Good luck to Japan!

End of a long season for England. I'm assuming it will be humid, with a few knock- ons, it could get tricky.
England should fire their whole graphic design department
A shame Japan still can’t up their own player input into their squad.
Well .....this is uncomfortable....wanting England to win.....just dislike Eddy Bignuts that much. Great work as usual Mark. Top notch.
Lol yeah who to root for eh?

@dulls8475 and a convivial Saturday in June to you too sir and/or madam.
Can you tell live telecast cchannel in india. Yet not get support for rugby in India. Cricket spoils all other sports..
Thank you Mark. Not sure what to think of that Japan team. I hope they go well and that EJ os as good for them this time as he seemed to be last time.
Dan will eat the pore guy for lunch.

And England pumped them
Needed this one too!
England to win this one imao
Good to see Japan get more test matches
Yeah man I think England are a much better team here - Eddie might be doing a bit of the changing of the guard

Dont think is acceptable to me the squad that wrak based on 7 uncapped players for japan. Eng need proper preparations. Waiste of time
You didn't give the England players' names in Japanese ;-) . I haven't seen the Japanese line up anywhere, so cheers.

Potentially good preparation for England before they face the Abs
Good if you could speak a bit slower Mark. 100 miles an hour and hard to absorb the stuff before you have flown on.
Sorry man I'll try slow it down 😅
You can slow him down on here if you click on the settings and then the playback speed
