One of my fav reactors.. Love that you just listen with us and then appraise the work.. Others stop and start so much it kills the vibe..
So true. First time here but I noticed that right away. Especially when they stop at the worst time. I get so frustrated. lol
Elton pure genius
Terrific song from a magicl era. You are a good listener and engaging speaker,JM, and very good at quickly summing things up.
"Burning out his fuse up here alone", it was years before I learned what the hell he was singing there...quite a weird line from Bernie.
Substance abuse......
The bass in this song is outstanding. Dee Murray.
Thanks for another great reaction. I;m a child of the 70's, and enjoy Elton.s music a lot. Your reactions are authentic and engaging. If youenjoyed this one as much as you appeared to, some other outstanding tracks are- Tiny Dancer, Goodbye Yellowbrick Road, Benny and the Jets, and Someone Saved My Life Tonight, all excellent tracks for reaction.
Love Elton John 💗🎶🎵
If you haven’t already listen to them I highly recommend Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, and Someone Saved My Life Tonight.
Beautiful smile by the way 🙂
I'm looking forward to you reacting to "Tiny Dancer" and "Your Song" by Elton John, both are favorites from 1971🎶💖
"Rocket Man" & Piano Man"..... When Elton John and Billy Joel staged their first “Face to Face” tour in 1994 they probably had no idea that they would end up being the “longest running and most successful concert duet in pop history” - but fans weren’t surprised. Both men are members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, both have sold well over 100 million albums worldwide and both are seen as living legends in the music world.
Benny and The Jets. That’s next
I hope your Mother had a Delightful Mothers Day. I hope she is aware of your efforts on this fine channel.
I need to redo my Elton's best songs list. I have this way down at number 18. I guess I haven't listened to it for a while. It belongs up at the top with I'm Still Standing, Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding, Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting, Bennie and the Jets and my number one, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.
Its actually my number one.
Yes I would like to acknowledge what John Flynn has expressed and add that you have no idea how much we appreciate you for the simple reason is you listen to the whole song before you comment. I work with other reaction channels, one who will listen for a while and interrupt the song once and then finish the song with critique. This one is a good critic, so don't mind so much, but your program has better flow with your technique, and you are very interesting with your reactions. Love your show. You be you.
Love Elton John. So many great albums. 2 that comes to mind are Rock of the Westies and Brown Dirt Cowboy. Enjoy.
I don't think Elton ever sang better than on this one!! "Rocket Man" and "Piano Man" should tour together!! HaHa!!
They did for a short time.
@@AliasMark69 Actually they played together over 20 times and I foolishly thought everybody knew that hence the HaHa!!
You seem to really react to bassist (the late) Dee Murray work in Elton's songs. Also you really seem to like drummer Nigel Olsen. As well, I heard you mention you "liked the strumming on the guitar" on your reaction to Elton John's "Hercules.". That was guitarist Davey Johnstone. You now have listed the members of the classic lineup of the Elton John Band. Minus Dee Murray, Elton performed with Davy and Nigel right up to his recent retirement. Don't know the bass players Elton has worked with after Dee's passing.
black betty ram jam
You need to see this live !!!!
In 70s
MY FAVORITE ELTON JOHN SONG!!! ❤❤❤❤❤

Your song

Don't let the sun go down on me ft George Michael
Don't go breaking my heart ft kiki dee
"Rocket Man" is a nick name for Elton John like "Piano Man" for B.J. Your first E.J. tune was the tribute to John Lennon... "Empty Garden". I thought that was the best song to start your adventure into Reginald Kenneth Dwight, Sir Elton John. Educated at Pinner County Grammar School and the Royal Academy of Music. He changed his name to Elton Hercules John, and began his career as a writer and singer in 1967. He has sold over 300 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling artists of all time, and he is the most successful solo artist in the history of the US Billboard charts.... You have a few more songs from him to get too... "Funeral For A Friend/Loves Lies Bleeding"... "Madman Across The Water"... "I've Seen That Movie Too".... "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road"...."I Believe In Love".... "The Way You Look Tonight"
Nice! My favorite Elton John songs are Burn Down The Mission, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Honky Cat, Bennie And The Jets, and Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me.
Elton John is the GOAT according to Billboard magazine who claims Elton is the most successful solo artist of all timw!😮😊Try his song from The Lion King called Can You Feel The Love Tonight for which he wrote the motion picture score!
wish you could bring this kind of music back into the norm, but is not gona happend, so maybe thats why we appreciate it more then ever, it only happend once
Another suggestion would be "Street Kids" from the album "Rock of the Westies" by Elton John.
❤️
Elton John's songs are great. Could you react to (When The Music's Over) by (The Doors?)
if you wore sunglasses you coud be brothers with elton same shirt face angle lol
There’s a cool cover of this by Slash from Guns n Roses with Myles Kennedy you should check out to compare
Dontcha think ‘rocket man’ is way more cool than ‘astronaut’? Elton John’s catalog is packed full of so much greatness, you’ll be hard pressed finding something you don’t care for. I like Tiny Dancer. Bennie And The Jets is fun.
Or the full version of ‘Knights In White Satin’, Moody Blues.
