Wretch has always been my favourite UK MC. I think he's suffered from his freestyles being so damn fire, and then people expect that exact same thing on his albums, but he's always wanted to make more varied music. So on his albums you'll get a mix of pop/club tunes, deeper reflective stuff, as well as some heavy bars and crazy flows and all the rest. He's a real artist. If you take the time to listen to his albums you'll find something in there that you like, for sure, almost no matter what your background or taste. I think all of his albums/mixtapes/etc are available on his youtube channel, so definitely go check some of that out. I'd be up for watching you guys react to any of his albums -- there are dope tracks on all of them. His last project, Upon Reflection, came out in 2019 and I think the only thing he's released since then was a Daily Duppy to promote his book 'Rapthology: Lessons in Life and Lyrics' and maybe a couple features on other peoples' tracks. Here's hoping he's got some new stuff coming soon. But yeah, Wretch needs all the recognition, and I've always wished people would take more time to delve into his albums. Anyways, thanks for the great reactions and helping to bridge the gap between the country where I grew up (US), and the country where I live now (UK). Pax vobiscum.

I personally think sometimes when it comes to the average listener we Don't appreciate the artistry, and the growth maybe even the creative direction because we may be so accustomed to the way we hear them on certain beats.
