There are some songs i don't care for one more light (the album) i wasn't a fan of It wasn't for me I still love alot of the stuff from every other album they have
From the Inside is a song that tells the story of a man (songwriter) who has been betrayed by those closest to him (can be, his girlfriend, his best friend, his friend). So that the songwriter seems to lose faith in that person, as if he is hurt by that person, and curse the person. Say "from the insede" itself is a metaphor of how he threw away all his trust from his heart to the person he considered loyal, but betrayed.
Listening to this the day after Chester's birthday and crying in the dark. It just takes me back to that day almost 6 years ago that I found out that one of the people I looked up to passed away, and I went to watch the MV for this song and sobbed. I wish I could've saved him like he saved me. Chester since I never got the chance to tell you this, thank you for being an inspiration. I got through the darkest moments because of you and the rest of Linkin Park. I miss you and my heart gets heavy when I think about you. The hole you left in our hearts will never be filled, and I hope you're ok up there
Actually got into Linkin Park when I found the Meteora album saved on my used original xbox, but Meteora is the best LP of all time. I don't think many care about new LP. Even LP probably doesn't even like new LP as much lol
1:58 notice how Chester's scream is slightly sharp, just so wonderfully raspy and real. Most shouting singers can't reach that level of authenticity with their screams. Chester was way more real with his emotions than the rest of the band I think. I feel for him.

I still remember those good old days when we used to unpack the new album we just got with so much excitement and the thrills ,the smell of it and admire the cover art and booklet. One of those albums was Meterora.I miss those days DAMN .now it's all about spotify
