    Hi, It works with anamorphic lens?

  • @GerardoGherman
    @GerardoGherman 2 года назад +2

    hmmm interesting... but thats missing the best part of free lensing,,, when you create a gap between the lens and the sensor and light comes to the sensor from the "sides" and create "natural endburns on your footage, freelensing is not about the "tiltshift effect" its about the light you allow the sensor from the gaps you create by moving the lens and so creating amazing footage.

      Says who? Not everyone wants light leaks. Light leaks can also be reproduced in post (not to 100% but it is getting close). There are also tools to create a tilst shift effect in post but those are not really good. You have to do it "in camera". And I think this product looks pretty interesting. I like it.

      They are planning on creating bellows that are more transparent so you can experiment with light leaks. Jake

      Hello Gerardo, you have made a very lucid appreciation, in fact there have already been several DoPs who have asked us about it. We are going to take out a bellows with a transparent front so that the operator is the one who attacks the sensor directly with the light he considers, but that it is isolated from dust and humidity. When you see it I hope you like it, because it will also be configurable. Any proposal or suggestion will be very well received.

    So it’s a lensbaby then?

    • @Sergiodeu
      @Sergiodeu 2 года назад +1

      hello Phoenix Media, you can move the lens freely but you can also move it in X and Y, you can also put any spherical lens in PL mount, you don't lose luminosity or infinity, you can lock the focus and iris motors, you can put a light filter holder in case you want to put ND or effects filters on it and when you don't want to use it with the offset system, you put it at 0 and it works like a traditional lens. I hope to be able to show it to you soon and that you can try it, if you have already enjoyed the lensbaby you can imagine it because it is similar but with the cinematographic lenses and you add the previous characteristics and the control, it is to say the ability to lock it in the decided position. All the best

      Yep the price is steep - we hope he will come down significantly. This could be so extremely popular if it was one tenth of the price at least.

      Hi SA. T. I have tried to make a system that works as well as possible and with the greatest capacities, the limits are set by said capacities and weight, I have not done it based on costs, the best materials and treatments have been used and displacement that improve utility. I remain at your disposal in case I can help you, I hope we can meet at a fair and so you can try it. All the best

      Hahaha. It's true, when Mr. Nino from CineD asked me that, I had to think about it because if I know the sale price is because I hear it from "La Jefa" who is the sales manager, I'm in tow, and I find out about the Price by chance, luckily it was also like that during the design and manufacturing, I did not have to look at materials or time, I was able to use what I wanted and manufacture with expensive 5-axis processes. That's why when Mr. Nino asked me, I had to think about it because he didn't remember it and it's also that they don't usually ask me. But at least I see that it was clear, very observant. All the best

      I would like it to be as simple as you say in 6 words, to make the functionalities, to be reliable and innovative, a lot of time and talent of engineers and professionals in the sector have been used, a lot of effort and dedication to offer a product that allows you to enjoy the photographic creation and the precision that a cinematographic production requires. @@Sergiodeu Mate. Im sure you have an excellent tool at a price that is good for serious feature/commercial work and good rental houses will carry the device. A bit expensive for most CD readers but that is not a bad thing :) I have a sinar P2 in the attic and will be getting it out for a play!

      @@sammorganmoore Yes, exactly like you say. It has not been easy or cheap to create a system that everyone can use and that is also open to any professional to use it himself, it is also necessary to think that the lenses they put on are usually very exclusive, of course the profile of the buyer is very limited to rentals and some very specific extensions, from what I see and read in your comments, you know perfectly well what I mean by adapting and preparing cameras to look for new and fun images, a pleasure to talk with you, I hope we can coincide and teach you personally. Greetings and I am at your disposal
