Man hat einen starken, schnellen RC mit Schaufel-Reifen und probiert sich aus.

The absolute joy of getting it running again. Well done. We had one that went into salt water, we made one out of two and changed everything that moved and a few things that didn't.
I am literally laughing my ass off at 5:30! Its just hilariously bad timing! Congrats on getting the E-revo back!

that's amazing. I have an e-revo brushless and never thought it could hold up to something like that with so few busted parts. stuff like this makes me very glad I bought one.
I accidentally drove my mini Revo VXL into the shallow end of my pool (3ft deep) It was only there for about 10 seconds before i fished it out with the net, but unfortunately the receiver fried. So i took it apart and found the seal a bit off from factory, sent it to Traxxas support and told them it got submerged in a "deep puddle" (lol). but they replaced it and all I had to do was pay for shipping it to them.

Very impressive. The guy with the glasses is the brains behind the rescue mission though! I laughed my butt off when the dark haired guy threw his recovery hook into the water before securing the other end. He should hold the camera for now on! LOL

You have it done good. Had it with a gasoline motor. Same day cleaned up and drives if there was nothing went wrong. When you drove on the last moment, you drove backwards and then forewards, never do that, you can burn up your motor throw big resistance...

I was dying at 5:30 when that doofus threw the hook in the water. First off, the dude should have held on to the damn rope, and second off, the rope should have been a hell of a lot longer like the second one. Lmao made my day!!!
Good job fellas, nice to see yous have fun in the water but take the time and care to clean and oil up your machine after you got it out of the water. Than on the test drive after you knew enough not to full throttle it till you knew everything was working properly, thumbs up to you both on a great job.

Best thing to do was put on a swimmers mask and dive down the next morning. But seemed like a fun project to get that back up running.
If finding that thing wasn't divine intervention, then you are the LUCKIEST guy in the world!! Imagine trying to grab it with the hook if there wasn't any water and you could actually see what you are doing. It would take most people more tries than it took you too grab it in these circumstances!! AMAZING

This alone proves that if you want a great RC, go for the Traxxas brand. I am glad I finally got one; the 1/16th version. It's been almost 1 week owning it and got 4 runs in one day over the weekend with the single 1200mAh battery. I can't wait for my 2nd 1200mAh battery and Parallel connection to be delivered later this week. The snow storms here in Long Island, NY will be even more fun!
I am looking for the highest capacity 2s LiPo and a 3s LiPo that can fit in the 1/16th E-Revo VXL. I'll be off for 16 days in December and I think it's going to be the best time to break some parts 😂

i've watched this about 20 times...while I'm extremely HAPPY that you got your e-revo back...I do have to ask...why in the HELL would you hold the throttle as you watched it go into the middle of the silt pit from nowhere. Le sigh.

I'll bet you that you will think twice before attempting to skip the water with something that isn't hydrodynamic. You had a lot of added work you wouldn't have had,, if you had of used the product for what it was intended to be used on,, that's not a boat :-) but I'll tell you what,, it was amazing to see that sucker skipping across that smooth water until that wake turned it in the direction it ended up in. They don't steer very well when their skipping and it's all you can do just to keep it on top of the water,, once that sucker twisted sideways,, it was doomed! Oops! yeah,, I tried it and got away with it in a lake that was almost drained with only 3 feet of water but I used the balloon tires off a "Tamia Lunchbox" on a 1987 associated Team vehicle. You are really, really fortunate to have made such a recovery and your patience and ideas paid off for you,, this time. Learn from that mistake hahaha! If you were to place "Ribbed" Tires in the front,, your steering improves and they will still hydroplane for you. Pick shallower water hahaha!

im happy that u retrieve ur car, but why wait 6 days? in that case i would try to dive for it with a torch and a hook and retreive after a day or 2. but great job. i lolled when ur friend throw the hook

Wish you posted a list in the description of what parts you had to replace. Looked like the servo & receiver but not sure if the ESC or motor survived - if you read this, add the list to the description (hard to find replies on here)... Nice work and I'm impressed you didn't give up... Congrats!

sucks man i just did sink my yeti xl today and was because i lost signal and it drove off into 8ft pond and hope tmw ill find it and will be long road to fix it .. beats buying new one i guess

+JP Knalli Ja, den Motor habe ich erst vor ein paar Wochen mal geöffnet und war alles in Ordnung. Regler ist der MXL 6s, bei dem läuft der Lüfter seit dem Tauchgang nur nicht ganz rund. Danke :) Benutzt habe ich die Canon IXUS 135.
I done the exact same thing with my rustler vxl 4x4. Had to change the receiver and all the bearings. Everything else was fine

I’ve had my Traxxas Summit in storage for 7 years now. I’m going to get it out this weekend and see if it’s still ready to run or if it’s going to need some new parts and maintenance. Its been in a box, wrapped in plastic and I have no idea what condition it’s in. I just hope I didn’t leave batteries in the radio. We’ll see...
