I was just checking out this video on installing geocell panels and had a few thoughts to share. As someone who's done this kind of work before, I can tell you that anchoring your geocell panel securely is absolutely crucial to its effectiveness.
But maybe you're not sure what I mean by "anchoring" or how to do it properly. That's where I think it would be awesome if the video could go into a bit more detail or even better, if the creators could make a new video showing us how to install geocell panels from different providers like Presto Geosystems, Geoweb, or Basecore.
I know I would definitely tune in for that kind of content, and I'm sure plenty of others would too! Let's keep the discussion going in the comments and maybe we can learn even more about geocell installation together.

Hi 👋👋 Do you guys have any advise on ground stakes to hold down the cells? IE - type and how many to buy? and place them every cell or every other cell on the parameter? Also did you leave your stakes in after the cells were filled or did you pull them? Many thanks 🙏🏼

Hi. I plan on using 1/4-3/4 gravel. I’m not as familiar with type 57 as a size but from what I have read it can be 1.25” and smaller but I don’t believe it includes fines (zero). Is this correct? Thanks for the video

    Can use Recycled Asphalt?

Hi Louis, Yes you can use Recycled Asphalt. When selecting and infill material it should have the following characteristics: 1. The material drains well 2. no aggregate in-fill material that is greater than 1/3 the size of the cell, meaning if you're using a 3" cell then no infill material larger than 1" aggregates. 3. Stay away from organic infill materials that will degrade over time.
