It’s Beginning to Look Like Christmas at the Farm

- Over the last few afternoons and evenings we’ve been starting to decorate the farm for Christmas. The Christmas tree is up, a few more dogs are arriving for their holidays, the kids are very excited. Luke’s family is coming after several years of not due to all the things that have affected everyone’s family togetherness over the last couple of years. There will also be a few ‘first’ Christmas’ this year for some of the dogs at the farm so it’s going to be that little bit extra special for all of us. The excitement is just beginning.
P.S Yes … between too many dogs to count and one active kitten this year, will it all last to Christmas Day??? 🙈 The odds are likely not in my favour 😅
When Roscoe the giant curls up in the princess bed, it is too cute!❤
As Evil told us a few months ago, Roscoe is a special Tiger dog and I believe he is an honorary Pruncess.

The girls (and Sam I’m sure) did a great job on the main tree. Great job assembling and putting on the lights Luke. It’s beautiful. The little dog tree is so cute. Can’t believe the pups slept through the decorating. Even Kitty Rose was chilling. All the holiday blankets and pillows on the furniture just finish it off. (Love the rugs and dining chairs). It’s a winter wonderland, minus the winter! We have a new kitten, Gracie, who’s almost 4 months old. Will be holding my breath after our tree is put up. We have 6 cats now but through our 48 years and various kitties, only had one tree fatality. Hoping for the best for both you and us!! Hope everyone had or is having a great Sunday. ♥️🐕🦺👧🏻👧👦🐈⬛♥️♥️🎄🎅🏻♥️

It looks so nice. All the dogs are relaxed and Kitty is thinking "oh boy, they got me a tree and covered it with toys".
The nice thing about being a Pug is that no matter where you want to sleep there’s always room because Pugs can make a grumble anywhere and on anything or anyone.
I was counting the minutes until Kitty Rose did the natural cat thing with Christmas ornaments on the tree. Elle decorating her tree with its tributes to Wallace and Charlie was so beautiful❤. 😊

My eyes can't stop tearing up as I watch this video. Looking at all of the fur babies that you both have provided wonderful lives and homes for this past year. They feel loved, safe and sooo very happy to be able to snuggle up in the lounge room on cozy holiday blankets with each other instead of waiting in a kennel to be adopted. Sweet Roscoe had a difficult time deciding where to sleep tonight. So many options! 🤣. Sam, just want you to know I absolutely love how you just go slowly around the room with the camera/ phone showing us the dogs sleeping. I find it very peaceful and comforting and I feel like I am there. I would love to hug and kiss each one. Thank you! ❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾

We are used to see the dogs active and enthusiastic out in the fields or in the water so it's almost unreal to see them this calm, relaxed and happy - in harmony with each other, with the family and their environment. A true picture of love.

So who's dressing as Santa this year for all the children, ones visiting as well as your 3. That will be so exciting for me. I love Christmas. My mom did, I think on my behalf. Until Christmas day, my dad was MIA as he was a Postmaster with the US Postal system. He was known to jump in where needed. Once a driver was hit and dad drove the rest of the route. First time ever as he started out managing stations at 24 after getting out of the US Air Force. I'm spoiled, this video could have gone on and on and I would love it. Brings back memories. I decorate just for me and my Moochie now. Mom and dad, at 82,don't want to have any decorations up at their house. I would do it for them and take down, but I think the memories maybe too much at their age. Mom does her hall table with a small village setting and front door and half-moon window above. So seeing you and the children decorate brings back fond memories. Makes me smile. I was always decorating for my parents and Derek before he passed in August 2019 and for myself. However, now I have to force myself to go through the motions. Nothing to get excited for. So the happiness of these family times with decorating is very much appreciated. Truly, thank you all so very, very much. As your parents age without grandchildren and me without children, it's just a very different dynamic. I think children and lots of family gathering are what make it. We've been just us 3 since 07 and we can tell a difference. You all still have many fun and exciting years together. Cherish them as they absolutely fly by in a blink of an eye.
I can relate to your story, minus the parents. It can be tough at Christmas without a family around you. I am so glad you, and others, have found this channel to help fill that void.
I've just watched the next video that came up after this one, and it was from January this year and headed 'Warning'. Luke was introducing Shadow to the pack. She was heavily muzzled and Luke's observations were not very positive about Shadow's behaviour. At the end, back in Shadow's space with her puppies, he was so dejected and worried that Shadow might be too difficult to home, even after training due to her hidden aggression. Her puppies were very vocal and it was a reminder of just how tiny the Misses Violet and Red were.Bring the clock forward and Shadow chose to turn that corner with Luke's dedication, and is in her forever home albeit with a keen eye on her by Luke, who she challenges every day. Luke never, ever gives up on a dog, and he's going through the same challenges with Chancey Boy, who was ready for adoption ages ago, but is way above the standards needed to be the best boy with a good leader guiding him. Just a bit of encouragement for followers but particularly for Luke and Sam as their vision unfolds. Never let the 'slower' successes overshadow the loads of complete successes you've had since this new journey began. You're loved by who knows how many thousands of followers, and everything you achieve on this journey, is an excellent example for others who may be in a position to follow it 🥰🥰
The dogs were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of squeaky toys danced in their heads;
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.,..."Kitty Rose! How'd you get out!"
Came to mind while watching the dogs snooze by the Christmas tree. 🙂

The girls did a wonderful job decorating the trees, they look great. I love the little tree with Wallace and Charlie's ornaments on it. It definitely is beginning to look like Christmas in the house. I love that I can tell them apart when they're lying around the house. Out in the field, it's just a guess unless I can see the collar and the Staffy sisters have ended part of my collar identification process. LOL

I’m trying to get myself in the mood for Christmas because on the 14th of next month I have to have a Heart Cath. I’m just praying everything goes well. Rather nervous because I keep getting short of breath. Gods gonna take care of me and especially you and Luke, Elle, Evie and Wolf. Y’all are the absolute best with the pack and I love ALL THE dogs. I just adore how Kitty Rose and dear Lily were bonding at the very end. The shot shows exactly how big Lily is and how gentle she is with KR. Loved seeing Luke in the trampoline tent with all the balls and the Elle, Evie and Wolfie, wearing his Little Wolf T-shirt! Everything is so adorable. Also, including Rover in the pack was a lesson in assimilation. I agree that Farm days will wear him out and make him much more agreeable. Love watching your videos. Once again, they give me great joy.

Perhaps Faith will be added to the remembrance tree in due course, and maybe the Aussie pup too.
I would love to find out where these remembrance decorations are from as they're such a beautiful reminder of the pups we've lost.

One of the things I do miss is being able to decorate for Halloween and Christmas.... I simply don't have the money to spend on evn the smallest bit.... So I'll live vicariously through y'all... Thank you!!! It's kind of emotional to think this is a first Christmas for so many of these puppers, and I think Wolfie as well.... Here's a Christmas 🤶 wish for Tank and Chopper, Chance and Naveah and all the dogs n cats in the shelters that they all get the loving homes they deserve this Christmas....

Thank you for sharing this special time. Curie pie looks wonderful wrapped in tinsel. Elle and Evie are great at decorating, and Wolfie gives it his best, but he's not quite sure what is going on. I'm waiting for the photos of Kitty Rose in the tree. Our Cats loved the Christmas trees as special places to hide and play.
