That right there is what is called a Signature Song. Micheal has sung that song since his early years with the Singing Americans. He made it his Signature song. And he has always always delivered the Holy Spirit!! I have loved Michael for years. As ive said before, in the Gaither video Harmony in the Heartland Michael made his return back into the fold after his fall from drug addiction, etc. He sang the song Lord Feed Your Children which id love for you to react to but also he sang with Mark Lowry, David Phelps, and Guy Penrod in a song called House of Gold. That song shows what true Harmony is all about. God Bless you Brother for having the courage in this day and age of declining morals, to present the Word of God through music, especially the music of Bill and Gloria Gaither.
Beautiful… these reunions of all the GVB members past & present are fantastic… love those GVB guys… they can really sing… reaches down to the depths of your soul♥️
Bill and Gloria view Michael as sort of a son. They backed and supported him thru his problems when no one else would or was. He has a special place in their hearts and they in his. It is very evident when you see Them talk about him and him about them. All the member of the GVB know about this bond and know that Michael is always welcome to the group whenever he wants. That song was Michael’s when he was with the GVB and it will always be his song whenever they sing it.
I love Michael’s voice on this song. I’ve only heard him sing it so no one else comes close! It is beautiful and powerful and especially with all the former and current GVB members singing too! Thank you for sharing this one today!
Charles Billingsly does a very nice rendition of this song as well. Ive seen him perform it at my church. But to me it will always be Michael English's Signature song.
Michael is known for this song. In late 80's first Gaither video he sang this with Larry Gatlin. He had the classic mullet. But so beautiful. It really put this song on every church choir and singers radar. Just wonderful. Thank you Lyle ❤
Michael’s story make this that much sweeter. I encourage you to research all the things he’s gone through and then to sing that after what God delivered him through and you will understand why he got such an applause! God is good!
I read his book The Prodigal returns. In that book he said, the answer to what he needed was right in front of him all along, then he quoted from the other signature song of his, "In Christ Alone, i place my Trust. My Source of Strength, my source of hope is Christ alone!" Yet another beautiful song.
Triple Header! Michael singing "I Bowed on my Knees" always a sure bet. From the GVB Reunion concert in Greenville, South Carolina in 2018. I was blessed to be there.
If you know Michael's testimony it is even more powerful! There is a song from this same concert that you should listen to, "I Then Shall Live". So powerful as well.
Lyle, have you read Michael’s book? If not, you must. He has quite the story and this makes this video even more powerful after learning about his journey. Hugs from across the pond!!
One of my favorites of Michael singing this song but my most favorite of him singing this song is when he was younger and Michael sang it with Bill Gaither, Wes Hampton, Guy Penrod, & one other guy, I think you'll love it as well.I don't remember the yr or where it was but listen to it and see which one you like best.
Have long been a fan of Gaither videos. As someone who suffers from chronic pain, I often use reaction videos as a distraction. I ran across yours, and now I am a subscriber. Please keep doing these videos. We need this type of content on here! Have a blesses day, and know that you have my prayers.❤
Dude. New subscriber. Looking forward to seeing your gaming… hoping you meant pen and paper ttrpg such as D&D. Particular thumbs up on trying biscuits and gravy. Next up, give a Jambalaya a go!

Gloria's lyrics set to the melody of Sibelius' "Finlandia."
This is Steve from the fort Wayne Indiana USA. I grew up 2 hours North of where they live and worked. Wonderful organization.

One of my favorite songs by Michael English
One of my all time favorites. Powerful. My favorite version. Especially if you know the story of Michael English. Watch his testimony sometime

Please react to Michael singing "Midnight Cry"! He's even better in person so if you ever get a chance to see him, please do!! Love your reactions!!!
Beautiful song and Michael singing it spectacularly.
One of his signature songs and he puts his all into it. 😊
I was at this concert, it’s in Greenville, SC. It was amazing to see live!
🎶🎶💕🎶🎶AMAZING and ANNOINTED Thank you Lyle
Shalom Lyle, can you imagine heaven with these amazing people.
Much love. Great reaction, brother.
This is the very first Gaither vocal band song I ever heard. I cried the entire time.
And I just cried again. If that doesn't renew your spirit.... speechless
Praise the Lord
Thank you so much for this reaction. I was truly blessed as I listened. We serve a mighty God! ❤️
It is amazing Lyle and lifts your spirits up

The song became a worship the Savior!
Wow how Beautiful!!!
I was at that Reunion!!! I don't think there was a dry eye in that auditorium and the ovation was at least 5 min long!
I am overwhelmed watching it on the screen, don't know if I could have handled it in person. 😂
This is a wonderful song! I like an earlier version wtih him better. Phelps sings back up on that one also. That version I listen to again and again.
Michael goes WAY back with the Gaithers! 1985 and I think possibly before that. 1985-1994 & 2009-2014!
He was with a group called The Singing Americans prior to GVB. He is also a North Carolinian like me😊
Love this one Lyle
