Galaxy S22 ultra worths it price tag but on the other hand A73 provide a quite decent price to performance ratio and can be recommended to anyone who doesn't want to spend a fortune on smartphone
Like I said for the a72 vs s21, it's 90% the same for 50% price. When the a73 (and my a72) is in its comfort zone (1080p video and well lit environment) it looks great.
If this was a blind comparison I would've chosen the A73. I'm very surprised with the camera quality of A73 considering its price. The 108mp is almost similar.
A day to day comsumer would'nt mind and would not have noticed the details as you have mentioned above I agree upon it but if a tech enthusiat compares it he/she will definitely pick s22 ultra due to its hdr versatility, shadows, exposure and colour accuracy and hands down the video quality of S22 ultra is second to known in android world (iphones are in their league of their own in terms of video quality).

The A73 is impressively close! The color may be a little flatter, but it's mostly pleasant. The night mode of the A73 is quite helpful to bridge the gap in nighttime photography as well.

Galaxy S22 ultra should have had more flagship features for its kidney demanding price! Thoroughly depressed by the performance of Galaxy S22 ultra compared to other flagship devices for the last couple of months.
Camera is same but s22 ultra resolution dynamic amoled display vs super amoled plus and higherppi density matters that's why clarity more simple samsung gimmick😂

For the most part, yes, they are pretty close, but if you closely look, the A73 blows off highlights in broad daylight images. However, the A73's ultrawide camera beats the S22 Ultra in the low light & night mode photos. Selfies are also close.
: l thats shocking tbh 775g has prettu good isp it seems well... the difference is not that evident and for normal users it would be hard to tell which one is which... a73 is like 70 to 80 percent of s22 ultra for 1/3rd the price

The A73 is a little too crispy in real life, somehow is lacking a smoothing algorithm, which is annoying. Less refined.
There is almost the same quality of both, who sees so deeply, in 42 thousands is getting the same clarity..
At a glimpse, there isn't a huge difference, but S22 Ultra definitely takes the lead once you pay attention

Stabilization of the A73 is almost inexistent. Doesn't it has OIS?
It has OIS, but doesn't seem to be working in any mode other than 1080P 30FPS.
Some phones with EIS has better stabilization than this.
