Be More by Doing Less

  • It's easy to get trapped in a cycle where doing leads to more doing…and then more doing.
We all have things that we have to accomplish each day, like getting up to go to school or work. But one day you wake up, and you realize years have passed but nothing has changed. All that doing hasn't gotten you anywhere at all.
If this feels like you, it might be time to 'do' less, and 'be' more.

Fabulous. The content/message was once again so clear, articulate and engaging. Didn’t even notice the subtle and perfect background music until the 2nd replay. Not forgetting the great background lighting, editing & set too. Thanks Forest, you and your Pa are 2 very valued assets 🙏🏻💜🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇺🇸

I agree with David, it was fabulous. Thank you Forrest, such an excellent message & reminder. I also really appreciate the gentleness of your voice, as the saying goes, you really are a chip off the old block ~ although maybe we shouldn’t tell Rick he’s old ❣️

Great video. Really cleanly presented. Just wondering: what’s with the jumping in and out of the distance between you and the camera.

Hey James, generally people cut in and out to make things a little more dynamic and engaging in a video that's basically just in one setting. I'd shoot in other rooms to mix it up, but this is the only room that has any soundproofing - the rest of my condo is basically an echo chamber!
So I do it to emphasize places where I'm speaking, and generally to try to maintain interest. If I get a lot of feedback that people aren't into it, I'm happy to change it.
