Thank you so much for mentioning my SAL with the Little Boot Stitch!!! 😁😁 She is such a lovely person and has so many cute designs. I try to support her and get the word out about her designs and her Etsy shop. Your plans look so fun... I'm thinking about that nutcracker SAL 🤔🤔🤔
You're very welcome! She has so many cute designs, it was hard to choose. I’m excited about the Nutcracker SAL, it will be my first time stitching a Twin Peak’s pattern. 😀
Thank you so much for sharing your projects! I have the 12 days of stockings in my stash and have been putting it off since I have such a difficult time stitching on dark fabric, but you made me want to give it a go! Thank you also for the sweet mention! ❤
You’re very welcome! I also struggle with the darker fabrics and usually choose Aida when stitching with them. Since they are small designs, I’m going to try it! Thanks for watching! ❤️
Hi Lara, I was knitting a pair of Christmas in July Socks while I was watching your podcast. It was so much fun as always. I love your patriotic stitch on that blue-red-linen, it’s beautiful. If you are looking for sweater or cardigan patterns, there is Isabell Kraemer, who designs very beautiful patterns. You are on Ravelry and have already seen something of her, I think. Wish you a good summertime and happy crafting. 🙋🏼Birgit
Christmas in July socks sound fun! I always enjoy seeing your knitting post on IG. I know I've heard of the designer you mentioned, I’ll have to go see if she has any beginner friendly garments! Thank you Birgit ❤️🧶🪡
Hi Lara, I loved the knitting section. I’m knitting my first pair of socks and like you I prefer the 9” circular needle. Love that they are so portable. I’ve been neglecting my cross stitch but hope I get back to it soon.
I purchased the color conversion floss pak from Primrose Cottage for American Welcome. Thanks for sharing the information with regard to a possible mistake in the roof color. I just ordered CC Baking Tin. All your WIPs, etc. are beautiful. Love your finishing fabric possibilities. I have been using DMC 3865 instead of white or B5200. I get better coverage with it and like that it’s not a “white white”.
I am a multi-crafter but really want to learn how to knit. However, I have decided to take some quilting classes first. I am sure knitting would be easier on the budget though 😅 Thank for another inspiring video ❤
The hand dyed yarn can be costly too! 😄 Quilting is fun, I'm sure you will enjoy taking classes. Maybe you can pick up knitting in the colder months! 🧶❤️
I didnt know you also had a youtube channel, a friend of mine got me into your fb group, and im Heidi with the Christmas blessing angel. I really loved your video so now im going to watch your other videos 😊 She is also after me to get back and make videos again for my channel, but i really have such a hard time to get back after i lost my little poodle girl, im the one that did the rainbow piece for my little girl. Well better stop writting otherwise i will keep on 😂 cant wait for your next video 😊
Thank you and I’m glad you found my channel! I always enjoy seeing your WIPs in the group, beautiful projects! I understand the feeling after losing my Yorkie earlier this year. I’m sure in time, you will feel like coming back to share on flosstube. Thanks so much for watching! 😊
Lara, another great Flosstube. I had to tell you that I did tent stitch over one on Rejoice Evermore. I felt they were too bulky on 40 ct to do a full cross. I can take a picture and send it to your email if you’d like. Let me know. Already looking forward to the next one! Julie
Sure, that would be great! Just when you have time, no rush. You can email or send a pic through messenger on IG. I'm thinking of trying tent on the 36, that might be the best solution to the bulky stitches. Thank you! ❤️
Lara, The Terra cotta linen and icing floss is going to be so gorgeous together! You have so many fun things going on right now, And I really love that emily call pattern. I don't think i've ever seen that one. Are you attending the midsummer stitch? I'm debating 😂
Thank you! I’m excited to restart the MFE pattern on the terra cotta linen, I plan to after Christmas stitching this month. 😊 I’ve bought my ticket for the Midsummer Stitch event, hope to see you there! 🩷
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kind shout out ❤ everything you are working on is beautiful and I can’t wait to see more from you!
