It irks me when my friends say stuff like, "Ugh, vegan burgers are so nasty!" I don't know what vegan burgers they've had but the clearly haven't been eating the right ones.
I think the difficulty is how enthusiastic guga and everyone on his channel is about the food he makes....whereas even Monica often seems unconvinced. 😂😂😂 Thing is...meat eaters can enjoy it for now but they best get behind the wave of the future because it's off the menu asap!
I do feel like you should've gotten a meat one for them to compare to, but the fact that they felt these were that meaty is pretty damn insane as is. When I've had impossible meat without adding extra "meaty" things it always tastes a little off, still good but not like meat. But it seems by just adding a little bit all these problems are solved. Very cool.
I guess my point is when you're eating a meal, you are not comparing it to another one. So when people say they love a great burger. They are not picking up 2 burgers and seeing if one of them is slightly different.. they are just eating. So the fact that they were both good enough for someone to even think they were real meat, then to me thats a huge win
