    I'm only interested in it to readr content with color without hurting my eyes. Now I don't know if it would be worth the price and I should stay with black and white e reader

    • @Dr.Akakia

      E-ink reader do not hurt your eyes...and you do not need color for reading...

    • @bellissimo4520
      @bellissimo4520 3 месяца назад

      As long as you don't want / need color for a specific reason, I would go with black and white. Because color displays are inherently darker (due to the additional layer), and because of that you need the frontlight a lot more - which in turn means lower battery runtime.

    Nice review. Question if you allow me. If you switch to B/W , will it have the same reading experience of other ink ereaders, like in the sun?

    • @Dr.Akakia
      @Dr.Akakia 5 месяцев назад

      Yes, 150 ppi in color mode, 300 ppi in B.W mode... It is an e ink reader and it will do that job at its best

    The lack of SD slot and limited built in memory means this is a pass for me. I also find it ironic that a review by e-reader puts the book/comic abilities second to raving about the note taking.

      USB OTG works perfectly and the file format doesn't matter

    • @boo1963
      @boo1963 Год назад +4

      @wernerarts yes but that forces me to carry around an external storage accessory which can be easily lost or forgotten, something built into the device is a lot more convenient letting me just grab my reader as I'm leaving the house without the hassle. It is also possible for me to access my Google drive but again it has the problems of connecting to WiFi when I'm out and the size of my downloads. My photography magazine I subscribe to is normal 600mb to 800mb for example.

    such a weird decision not to have an SD card. I was planning to get this one, thinking I would be loading a lot of textbooks, magazines and comics on this as well as productivity apps but 64Gb seems a bit small for all that 😦

    How come this Chinese Android tablet costs €500, while the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro 2nd with OLED costs €379?
    Samsung Galaxy S9 FE €430
    Maybe I'm missing something catastrophically important like a super advanced alien tech in the form of a color E-Ink.
    I'd be willing to buy such a product, but there's no way I'd pay the same for E-Ink as I would for OLED.
    300 euros is an absolute maximum.
