In depth review of slip-trailing and hand building techniques workshop with professional potter, Amy Henson on February 19 2024 @ Robson Ranch Texas Happy Potters Club
I really love her as a teacher. I liked the pinch part. As a self taught potter I’ve not learned a lot about pinching. Wish we could actually see the slip trailing!! Why on earth didn’t the person filming move? It doesn’t even make sense that they kept filming not being able to see.
I was so excited to watch this because I've been really interested in slip trailing but then when she done it there was nothing to be seen because her hand was in the way because the person that was taking the pictures was on the wrong side of her and when she made the animal at the beginning she did not explain what kind of animal it was she did not finish it she she just went on to building it and then she went on to a plate which she didn't finish and then she started this slipping which you could not see so what's it used to have this video
This video was shot as a live 3 hour presentation by nonprofessionals utilizing a camera whose position could not be changed. Sorry for some of the issues.
A natural teacher. Thank you. I learnt so much.
What an absolutely wonderfully talented artist and instructor ❤❤
What a wonderful teacher!

Thanks, saved me wasting time watching this!
Sorry for some quality issues. This was an almost 3 hour workshop shot by non professionals and a camera that was not mobile.
I don’t see what you are saying. I could see and thought she explained nicely.
The camera needs to be on the other side. Your hand is blocking the view of everything you are doing with the slip trailer. Can't see a thing.
