I’m so grateful to have found your videos, I’ve been suffering from ruptured cervical discs, broken teeth, Tmj, often times disabling me for months on end- just learning about somatic experiencing and release. Incorporating these with my physio work is NEXT LEVEL. Also anything that helps with shallow breathing ... wow you rule!! If you have full classes to download for sale let me know, thank you for the work you do!

James I threw my back out on Saturday for the second time in a week. As soon as I threw my back out for the economic time I looked up somatic a for lower back pain and found your video. Within 24 hours I feel like my back is almost 95%. I can hardly believe it. I did this first exercise several times for two days and I really feel it worked well.

I love somatic stretching. The only thing is when your are older and very tight it takes years to see progress. I have been doing many of these stretches for about 7 years. I have improved, but I have had to add some strengthening exercises also. Thanks for all your great videos!

Hi Karen, thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are happy to hear that you have stayed consistent with your stretches and movement and enjoy the content here on our channel. How regularly are you doing the practices? Have you increased the numbers of time per week that you do some of these movements? The best results are always experienced with a more regular and even customized practice. We hope to hear back form you with updates now that you have been here for a while. (P.S. Pardon the delay in our response).

I have a twisted pelvis, my left side is higher and more forward than my right. Can movements like these balance me out or would I need specialist help.

Hi! Pardon my late response. I just discovered your message. I've been in private practice for a many years. Most of my clients are people with extreme discomfort or have specific conditions. These Somatic Movement Flows, as demonstrated in this video, are designed to reprogram your brain to muscle connection so that you can regain flexiblity, strength, and alignment. Most people can unwind from old stress holding patterns and return to a balanced state. If you found benefit in these movements, I'd encourage you to try others in this channel. Also, here is a list of tips and guidelines you might consider. www.gentlesomaticyoga.com/tips-and-guidelines-for-somatic-yoga/

What in the world happened to the days when we were kids and when we messed our body up we could just shake it off after a while.
