There's like a billion Harry Enfield characters and they are all funny and definitely represent real parts of society
He's literally a comedy deity
I love this couple. It's enjoyable to watch them as well as what they're viewing.
There is another one where he takes them to his local pub for a drink. Thus, just as hilarious.
There's about 8 clips
Yh the pub one is great
They recently made another comedy sketch about the same dad.
Still very ignorant and bigoted. Out of touch because he doesn't think that it's ok to pump children with puberty blockers, cross-sex hormone treatment and perform double mastectomies on 12-year-old girls.
it's the other half of the clip above, copyright prevents showing it all.@@-M0LE
I saw an American reaction guy watching this and the dominant joke went right over his head 😂. Not yours 🇨🇦 ❤.
Not quite. He said that he couldn't actually hear the word. To him it sounded muffled.
Great reaction guys, there's a part 2 to this sketch which is equally as funny. 🤣
Three gay men sharing a bed and when they wake up the one on the right side said I had a dream last night someone was tossing me off, the one on the left side said I had exactly the same dream, the one in the middle said I had a dream I was skiing :)
This was actually called Gay Son. Why have some people tried to change the name? Unfortunately the best one can't be found online any more, and I mean anywhere. Was a great follow up with one of the finest lines I've ever heard. Harry, holding a tray of mince pies - son's new boyfriend asks "mince pie?" - Harry replies "sure, let me get out of your way". Amazing.
Yes your right

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT when someone takes the piss out of me for being gay, it's f00kin hilarious!!!

I'm 61 and my dad was the same. He also recognised that people from different parts of the world had different ways and values and was not backward at pointing this fact out. He didn't dislike them and we had a lot of different coloured friends and neighbours.
My thoughts are that we live in such a diverse country here in the UK that we've stopped noticing it.
Of cause we now have big problems with the latest of the issues in the middle east, not that this is anything new.
I don't think people have _stopped_ noticing - it's more a case of _pretending_ not to notice these days, out of fear of being labelled.
Which is a shame, because the mark of any good relationship (in my opinion anyway) is the ability to good-naturedly take the piss out of ourselves and each other without causing offence.
A great example of this is a story my best mate tells of when he was living in Portugal in the 90s...
A big group of ex-pats used to hang out together, and they decided to have a fancy dress party one night.
My mate went as Vyvian from The Young Ones, and everyone was having a great time laughing and joking.
Then someone walked in dressed in full KKK robes - peaked hood, the lot.
The bar went silent and everyone stared in horror, not knowing how to react.
In the midst of this terrified silence, the 'white supremacist' whipped off his hood...
And it was a black guy they knocked about with!
Apparently the room (and the atmosphere) burst with laughter.
I love that story! Self deprecation and a sense of humour can alleviate all sorts of problems! Whereas being uptight and actively seeking offence everywhere you look (as appears to be the 'modern' way) does nothing but cause them.
Here's to a return to the seemingly lost days of fun & laughter that we're desperately trying to find again! 🍻🥂😉
@@ramsey6681 I totally agree.
When I look back at shows like "love thy neighbour" and "mind your language",
These shows were loved by everyone no matter what their ethnicity.
I think it depends on which part of the country you live in as to whether you normalise different ethnicities.
If you live in London, like me, the site of different looking people is part of every day life, but if you live in somewhere like Cornwall it's more of a novelty.
But you're right, we need to learn how to take a joke again and stop looking for an excuse to be offended, after all, sarcasm and piss taking is a British national sport and the only one we can win at.
😂✌❤🇬🇧
@@coot1925 Over 40 years ago I managed a theatre and twice in the space of 3 years we had The Black & White Minstrel Show as the Summer show. The audience was as mixed as they come because people loved the music, the specatacle, the humour and more importantly didn't take offence on behalf of others who weren't in the least bit offended.
Can't say "coloured friends" anymore, you have to say "friends of colour". What difference putting "of" in there makes is beyond me.
@@crowbar9566 the whole world has gone insane 😂
This is a bad habit😇. I cannot resist watching Brad & Lucy's, hilarious , reactions to our British comedy without having some " herbal " assistance🤪. Such a nice couple, and as a responsible adult/parent I fully love they enjoy some herbal assistance as well☺...
😂🤣👍✌️
Dominic is played by Scottish actor Ewan Bremner who was also in 'Trainspotting' and (the underwhelming) 'A.V.P.'.
Jasper carrot insurance claims. 😂😅😊 it’s hysterical.🏴🇬🇧
When you two are high AF, you make me laugh so much. Let me catch up! ♥
Guys please watch the Dutch policemen sketches , Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse ,it’s AMAZING. 😂
Now this is comedy. I remember watching this when I was a teenager.
Harry is a comedy genius!
His sons Special Friend was also Spud in the film Trainspotting
Considerably richer than yow! Watch it soon as possible!
Loadsamoney and his relative from the NE Buggerallmoney.
Who else notices how the term phobic is being misused? It means an unreasonable fear of, not hatred of.
There is a second part in a pub, watch that please.
"Every generation gets a little better" - definitely, if by "better" we mean "more gullible and ignorant".
You've smoked some weed, you're reminding me of the Trailer Park Boys, and you're hilarious 🤣🤣🤣
You two have got the British humour totally… cheers

Relating to those of "African Persuasion - Bill Burr" my late Father would remark on their athletic prowess and put it down to having to run away from Lions. He was joking. He worked with someone in the motor industry in Liverpool who's nickname was the ironic "Chalky." He talked of him fondly.
There was one moment that summed up the generational divide and proved to me that he didn't have a racist thought in his head. I was living in the US of all places, having dinner in a restaurant with my American wife, her family and my Dad. Having a normal conversation and spoke of a friend and named him. His name was Mike. My Wife asked which one? The black one I said. My Dad looked horrified, leaned over and whispered "You're supposed to say coloured!"
Obviously I discreetly gave him a history lesson on why that word should never be used and why. Especially in the US!!
This is only half of the sketch, The dad goes with the Boys to the local Pub for a beer, ( THE BOYS GO TO THE TOILET---TOGETHER )
You missed the part where his son said ‘Can I have a mince pie?’ and the the Dad said, ‘Of course! I’ll get out of your way!’
Have you watched the one where he takes his son to the pub???
Cheers Mate from Indiana
There are two more parts to this!
Brad, you began by repeatedly saying hi. Was that a greeting, or just telling us you are both high (for a change 😋). As it's 4:30 am in England, and i'm on my 14th can of beer, you are in good company.
You missed the second half of this. They go to a bar for a drink.
Hi Brad&Lucy - Thanks for another Great Upload & Reaction. PLEASE Don't forget to Do more Reactions of *Jeff Dunham, Clips (with Peanut, or Walter & more Achmed..) Thanks again & Keep them coming as WE all appreciate it.
Cheers 🌻
I only fist bump, that hit spot on in this setting 🤣
Absolutely hilarious 😂😂😂
You should review Jurgen the German when he meets a Jewish man. That one is rough lol.
Never thought about it and I was never anti-queer, in my teens, as many were. Maybe my parents were more aware than I was? Then my son at about 16 shows signs, but never told us. His older sister knew, but didn't tell us. Now as grandparents we are fully open to any sexuallity.
he takes them to the pub in another clip lol
It’s hard to find as it’s in a Harry Enfield & Chums compilation, but there’s a follow up to this sketch where Homophobic Dad is at the pub with his son and Dominic, which is worth reacting to 👍
There's also a Christmas sketch featuring this character.

Not hard to find.
Have you seen Jack Dee standup. He's great.
Cracks me up every time… 😂
Never got the "logic" behind calling someone gay for NOT watching a bunch of guys in shorts running around... If anything...
He's not homophobic, just a dad from a different time feeling awkward.
'Gay son' is the actual name of this
for years people thought the rapper Eminem was homophobic till he had Elton John sing Stan because Dido was unavailable, Elton even said on the Graham Norton show that Marshall sent him & his partner a gold plate penis for their wedding anniversary
hahahahaha are saying yall like the leather straps and whips?? ooooo dont answer that hahaha
Maybe....😁
very good very good very good all round
I only fist bump, not fist! Lol
Yep MMMMMMMMMMMM The green green grass of home :)
Nice chairs 👍 it's good to be kind to ya behind 🤭
Do harry Enfield the pharmacist 😂 so funny
I always wondered why the americanism for poof was sissy , and i still don't get it , its also strange that there are words that are Acceptable in the uk that are frowned upon in the states yet its the same culture and language
I'm 39 next week, and "sissy" was used in the playground here (northern Ireland) since I started primary school in 1989 to mean an effeminate boy. Interestingly "poof" never really became a thing this side of the Irish sea as a pejorative. A little too "English" for our ears probably :)
@@garethm3242I'm Scottish not English and I'm 54 and poof meant either gay or paedo when i was a kid., not that I mean anything by it , its just what they terms where when i was young
Find out what Americans call a bum bag...
Boo Booo you cut it short, the best bit was yet to come :(
That was the clip
Thought Enfield was dead
Americans don't get it
Do Canadians?
you should try ..Mrs browns boys ,,,you will piss yourself
Hi
👩🦰- Hi 😊
Are there openly gay hockey players ?
Not many. It's a work in progress. There have been many bad stories of abuse and wrongful treatment though. Canadian culture is slow to wake up
@@bradlucy in the uk there are gay sportsmen who are out , in rugby and cricket and many other sports , except soccer where as you know the crowds can be quite ruthless .
Every generation gets worse and worse
Cant see the video. Hopeless
Nobodody has ever died from being terminally offended.... If its funny it's funny don't apologise
Offence is often taken without being given.
i just dont get why people upload like this
screens are the wrong way - big screen for content small screen for you & the copyright this isnt even a thing this is a BBC free licence clip !
Havin said that its a CLASSIC
