Correct these lyrics if you think they're wrong, especially towards the end. It's allllmooost like he's saying How-ho-hold that angel or even I'll ho-hold that angel but is messing with the pronunciation alot. While that makes more sense, especially as it fades out seems like a stretch. She's a little angel Wearin' a pretty halo I'm a little devil Bound to get you in trouble Keep your eyes on me Becuase my minds on you I'm gonna make you mine You're a little angel Wearin' a pretty halo I'm a little devil Bound to get you in trouble I visualize a baby When I stare at your tummy Yelling, and crying "Mummy get me out of here" I'm a little Devil Bound to get you in trouble The price I have to pay and that's okay (yeah baby) (what you want) (you're all I need baby) (all I want is you baby alright) You're a little angel Wearin' a pretty halo How-ho-ho that angel You'll always be to me How-ho-ho that angel You'll always be to me How-ho-ho that angel You'll always be to me How-ho-ho that angel You'll always be to me How-ho-ho that angel You'll always be to me
I’m not a fan of Mac demarco by any means but I will say that whenever someone who gets mainstream recognition for a certain style it usually has its roots in the fringes, niches and all around weird areas. Usually these areas don’t possess the means of mass distribution nor do they possess the tech to produce the music they make up to “professional” standards so even though it is lo-fi you could make the argument that it’s unintentionally so and therefore intentional lo-fi is something else entirely as it builds on those niche sensibilities and uses it to make a statement. Where Tonetta’s art stands out is it’s built on the idea that he’s doing it purely for artistic fulfillment and so comes off as a consistent train of thought from one man. It exists for that purpose and he honestly puts it out there as is. In a sense putting himself on the stage for all to see. Some groove with it some reject it but there’s no pretense, no sales pitch, nothing to buy into its just Tony being Tony and I think he’s remarkable but imitation is the best form of flattery. Nothing against Mac Demarco but he’s just not the same kind of artist as Tonetta. Tonetta is kind of more than a musician but a true multimedia pseudo folk artist.
this song makes me fly through hard times like i have no weight. Just replay over and over.
Thank you Tony! Your music makes me so undescribely happy! You make the loneliness sting a little less, have a good one!
I love this song
1:43 the little bass line/turnaround leading to the acoustic kills me everytim
This song is so goddamn great that it frustrates me. This man deserves so much.
Banger
This song is responsible for curating my love for Tonetta’s music
this sounds amazing
You could tell literally anyone this is a Mac DeMarco song and they’d believe you. He has to know who Tonetta is.
He stole the sound
Mac Demarco copied him 100%
I swear if I see him at his show I will ask

She's a little angel
Wearin' a pretty halo
I'm a little devil
Bound to get you in trouble
Keep your eyes on me
Becuase my minds on you
I'm gonna make you mine
You're a little angel
Wearin' a pretty halo
I'm a little devil
Bound to get you in trouble
I visualize a baby
When I stare at your tummy
Yelling, and crying
"Mummy get me out of here"
I'm a little Devil
Bound to get you in trouble
The price I have to pay
and that's okay
(yeah baby)
(what you want)
(you're all I need baby)
(all I want is you baby alright)
You're a little angel
Wearin' a pretty halo
How-ho-ho that angel
You'll always be to me
How-ho-ho that angel
You'll always be to me
How-ho-ho that angel
You'll always be to me
How-ho-ho that angel
You'll always be to me
How-ho-ho that angel
You'll always be to me
Im always so frustrated i cant figure out that how ho hold line haha, but i think you might have it????
