Good evening Chris. I’ve watched many of your videos and all are so informative with easy to follow instruction, but having just come across this one , this without doubt is by far the best and given myself plenty to work on, in fact I’ve downloaded it which isn’t something I’ve done before, big thanks Darran Ball
Great video Chris, this is very helpful for people working on keeping a flat lead wrist at impact. This is a good feel for us flippers, much appreciated as always.
These are some of the best and clearest instructional videos I have seen on RUclips. Loved your "Fix your back swing with this one video drill " as well . Thanks
Absolutely excellent video! Since watching this video and a few other “trail arm position at impact” videos, I have a much greater appreciation for the importance of the trail arm. Early practice results have been encouraging. Thank you !
A very beautiful course to play golf. You are, in my opinion, the best online golf instructor. I always look forward to your tips, and drills. Thanks from Arizona.
Love the tip-- But painful for me-- Bad right shoulder-- Issues with flexibility-- Chris do you have some insight for a bad right shoulder? Thank you--
Brilliant Chris - this and the really simple golf drill for downswing I.e using the direction of you thumbs, may have been the most useful for me to date!
Thanks Chris, great video. This really helped. I believe a straight trail arm at impact is causing my hooks with long irons and driver. Again, great video.
Great video Chris. Just wondering if you have any good drills to get into the ideal delivery position? I’m having trouble with my club head position being outside of the line of the shaft and feel that my trail hand wants to take over causing a flip at impact. Thanks 👍🏻
Watched your video and played a tough golf course yesterday here in Tucson, AZ. Just thought about your Delivery instructions on each shot. Shot an 81!! My buddy is wondering what is going on. Thanks.
Trail arm position, Chris Ryan 👍 bravo buddy , this video is the most important instructional tuition I have ever come across. Trail arm position, the right elbow 😃 I,m 5’6” 60 kg 67 yr old today I smashed my driver hitting up 217 mtrs lol 😂 love ya mate thank you 👍
At last shaft parallel I’m too far outside or too far inside depending on the shot. I’m trying to get something down where I’m not manipulating the club.
Chris I keep hitting the ground before the ball and I end up losing all the power. The club literally digs in the ground like a spade and takes out a massive chunk of grass and soil it’s very embarrassing. Can you help? I don’t want to wreck the golf courses
Even Ben Hogan said a good round for him was one where he hit 3 perfect shots !. He said he was lucky if he hit 3 shots out of 70 that went exactly where he wanted !! And thats from arguably the best ball striker that ever lived, what chance have we got ?

Everything you say makes sense and it really works! Thanks
Recovering from a recent medical stroke. I feel like this video addresses a fundamental problem with practice range results since. Thanks Chris!

Again chris great video a few of your videos have helped me with my golf game but would love to get a lesson.
Brilliant Chris - this and the really simple golf drill for downswing I.e using the direction of you thumbs, may have been the most useful for me to date!

Great advice! I'm going to try this
Excellent, as always. Would like to see the equivalent video for the driver (assuming the same rules don't apply).
This information is spot on
Thanks

Awesome! Thanks so much for the insight on how I can improve! Your videos are always a great help. The deer did NOT seem interested!!
Tim I’ve been trying to get the deer to take lessons for ages, just not interested 😂😂
@@ChrisRyanGolf HAHA!! Have a great weekend! Play well.
At last shaft parallel I’m too far outside or too far inside depending on the shot. I’m trying to get something down where I’m not manipulating the club.
This applies to long irons as well?
How do you do the wrist set without hooding the club face?
Chris I keep hitting the ground before the ball and I end up losing all the power.
The club literally digs in the ground like a spade and takes out a massive chunk of grass and soil it’s very embarrassing. Can you help? I don’t want to wreck the golf courses
Nobody:
Deer: 1:04
I thought you were supposed to have depth in the backswing? Your hands in line with your heels. Your swing seems more around the toes.
Yeah depth is a good thing for most people, ideally I would need more in my swing, I tend to lift the arms a little in my backswing 👍
@chrisryangolf have you ever played a flawless round of golf? Or what's your most complete round? Anyone and everyone can answer.
I’m not sure anyone has played a flawless round, I’ve had good rounds, but not perfect by any means
Even Ben Hogan said a good round for him was one where he hit 3 perfect shots !. He said he was lucky if he hit 3 shots out of 70 that went exactly where he wanted !! And thats from arguably the best ball striker that ever lived, what chance have we got ?
Don't hit the deer!
