Adrian Harris lol 😂 This is the best comment ever Adrian!! Did I? Honestly, if I did, it was about staying a little composed for the interview... certainly more than a discomfort about the tasting experience itself 😉
Adrian Harris also, my host, who works at the running the visits at Hennessy, was most probably used to tasting it all the time, and he kept spitting every sip. At that point I was starting to feel a little ‘guilty’ about swallowing! Hope you understand. (This is very insightful background info that I hope you will keep for yourself 😊😁). Cheers. Thanks for stopping by... What did you think o the video overall? I value feedback 👌🏼
Adrian Harris have you watched the distillery tour video ruclips.net/video/KTKjf_yMP0c/видео.html ? I think the tour varies depending on the season as they are not, obviously , distilling all year long, only winter. But I’m sure the vines to Cognac tour is always top notch. Let us know how it goes for you. Enjoy 🥃
Thank you very much man. Much appreciate the support 🙏👍 looking forward to continuing the sharing of our passion and exchanging with you on the channel 😀🍾🥂 take care mate, happy new year
Since this is a tasting...spitting out the cognac must be similar how professional wine tasters do it...they sip/swirl/spit...never swallow (other wise imagine what a happy day it will be after the 100th product)...some even gargle with water (and even sniff neutralizing agents as if appreciating perfume) in between...for maximum experience of a product unhindered by the linger of the last tasted product...
when u drink cognac and brandy in a tulip glass like that...if feels and looks less gentlemanly...it looks like you are downing wine in some very formal setting...very refined...old brandy and cognac ads show men drinking from short stemmed glass cradling the glass bottom but also doing the swirl and sniff...they say the warmth of the hand helps release the bouquet...even when on the rocks...is that true???
Hi Antonio, thanks for your comments. Yes, I guess the warmer the cognac, the more alcohol evaporates and the stronger the smell, but it's not necessarily recommendable to warm it up to the body temperature, that's very warm. Guess it depends if the Cognac is very cold, then it's probably good to warm it a little bit so you can smell and taste better, but if it's room temperature, that's warm enough :-)
Yes. I've explained this a few times. We were in a professional environment tasting with a Maxime on his workplace at the end of a long day tasting dozens of Cognac. So yes, I spit it 🥂
@@RUclipsJulien No need to lie now buddy.. We all know that the contents of those 'spit buckets' are later poured into those little sample bottles which are then sold on sites like masterofmalt,com for us peasants who cannot afford the full bottle..

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👌👌👌
Hennessy VS sucks. The VSOP and XO however are extremely good.
I've never had cognac, what's the difference between the VS and VSOP?
i think, hennessy vsop > remy martin xo. This is my opinion.
hennessy = young ma
