As a BMW owner, the morbidly amusing aspect of this race was how many BMWs there were at the start and how few there were at the finish or even half distance 😭😂
It's been one of those weird things where the BMW contenders have unfortunately not had the best run at the last few Sydney 300s. Maybe 2025 will be the year they can make it happen tho.
From memory (and admittedly it might be rusty) but with the lights at the Sydney track there is no mandatory rule that a cars headlights have to be on for the race.

I might have missed it, but what is the deal with some of the cars not running lights? Is that a penalty of some sort?
