Absolutely, i just saw Hilary and Jackie aswell as Breaking The Waves for the first time and seeing how far she has become, it's wild that she's basically a senior yet somehow still underrated despite the two Oscar noms she has. For my money, she's an underrated acting legend

This movie left me wanting to know more about this mother and this son. The performances were all superb but I wanted to know what happened in Australia with Paul’s character. What made him the way he was? How stressful it was for his mother to want to trust her son but at the same time how much doubt she had with what he had or had not done. Emily Watson blows me away in all her performances. My favorite was Watson in Breaking the Waves!!!!!! Her performance in that had my jaw on the floor.
