Emergency Exit Transitions - Reverb and Echo Out [Traktor Pro]

In this video, I'll explain how you can use the FX, namely Reverb and Echo, for an "emergency exit" transition in Traktor Pro. As one DJ said, "When in doubt, reverb out." While you would not want to use this transition all the time, a few times throughout the night is fine and will quickly allow you to switch BPMs or genres. Reverb Out uses the reverb FX to end a track (by cutting the fader), while Echo Out uses the echo unit to end a track, giving you a long tail to start the next track on. We will also make sure we have our FX set to post-fader, which is necessary for this effect to work.

Hi, thanks for this tutorial 😉 I'm moving from Serato to Traktor DJ right now, and for me mapping (AH:K2) DUAL DELAY on FILTER knob is the best way to go 😃

Sounds very lame and basic and I wouldn't expect to hear transition like that outside someone's home tbh😀 this seems for someone who had less than 10hours on tractor.
