    I love this! I work at the deYoung and FAMSF and love this channel so it’s really exciting to see one of these videos about a painting in our collection. I hope to see more!

    Missouri used to be the "west" and before that, the US as a whole was part of a "New World." It's amazing how perception changes with knowledge.
    The (literal) fat cat tickles me. He reminds me of that rotund, jolly archetype more than some powerhouse tycoon.
    I loved Dr. Zucker's interpretation at the end - it is a circus indeed and I'm sure that of all the things Bingham could've put on that wall, he chose a circus for cause.
