  • Here's an easy, dramatic faux cable for machine knitters! Diana teaches the double-strang e-wrap as well as dropping two stitches and latching up, then crocheting to secure the cables as you cast off.
Diana's got a shopping site with her book and video sets. Her pattern books avoid abbreviations, have coil bindings, lots of sizes, lots of machine gauges, and color photos. Her videos contain detailed instruction on required techniques. You can choose a printed book and DVD set, or you can get pattern and video on USB drives. Visit www.dianaknits.com.

Thank you for sharing this! I have a question. Could you turn your work around and make this cable on the front of your knitting?

Yes, you could, but experiment and see if you like the effect. It won't stand out as much.
