There is so much I love about this, for one, the armor actually FEELS like armor. The way it's equipped to him and bolted on as opposed to just that nanobot nonsense in the later movies. This also feels alot more gritty and realistic than the later movies. It might be the filter or the cinematography but this really does just feel more real.
That look of shock, horror and surprise on that kids face as the sound barrier is shattered from above gets me every time. It’s that moment iron man knew what his purpose was.
3:38 absolutely love this shot of him emerging from the rubble. It looks SO good. Damn you Disney for skimping on practical effects like this for absolute garbage CGI. Pay your workers, give them plenty of time, and go back to the old movie magic ways.
Now going back to this seat years later, I’m realizing why this is one of the best Iron Man scenes of the whole mcu. He’s menacing, low mercy, quick with his targets,it’s like he left all his money out of his head and just wanted revenge
For me this battle was clean. He shut down those terrorists without harming a single innocent life, and crippled their ability to continue their offensive.
I think it was just the big buildup to that moment that made it so good. You hear guns shooting, women and children crying out, enemies shouting and all of a sudden the roaring intensity of the incoming thrusters of the incoming suit and then BOOM, here I am, time for a little crap to hit the fan.
Fun Fact, Afghanistan is around 7700 miles from Malibu where Tony lived, and Mark 3 can fly at Mach 1 (770mph)~ it means it took him around 10 hours to fly to Afganistan, that's some true dedication.
Not realistic enough. Any large impact in that suit should kill Tony. The suit is like an inch thick at best with no shock absorption. Even if the suit stays in one piece because the metal is really strong, all of that force will be passed on to the person inside. Physics 101 says Tony should be a human smoothie inside that suit after that tank impact. Batman from the Dark Knight is more realistic.
@@SunlightGwyn again, it's my opinion. Besides, I didn't say "the most realistic superhero ever", but "the most realistic superhero I've ever seen". You know the differences, right?
@@SunlightGwyn There is an amortisation layer, as we see when he puts on the suit. So the impact from tank bullet would be passedfrom metal chest to metal back. But it wouldn't save him from falling and hitting the ground, sudden stop will kill him.
This is such awesome wish-fulfillment for me. Imagine being able to see something fucked up on the news and just be like "aww HELL no" and just go take care of it. Real superhero shit.
When I saw that scene from the movie, that was dramatic, epic, and amazing! BTW, I liked that scene when Tony told Afghanistan their murderer is all there's.
so is Isreal supposed to be the helpless villagers and palestine are the10 Rings Insurgent? Isreal is the one occupying Palestine, this is a fact, look it up. The same way the 10 Rings are occupying the villages here. Palestine also don't have an army or any real means of deffending themselves, the same as the villagers, while the 10 rings like Isreal have all the fire power. And the 10 rings like Isreal got their weapons from america. So compare all of this again and you'll find that especially in this scene Isreal are the 10 Rings. If an Iron Man existed he'd be with Palestine, because he'd always stand up for people who can't defend themselves like the vilagers here and like palestine
This one scene mixed with the one before where he was listening to the horrible news with almost rageful but teary eyes wanting to make a difference is why this is my personal favourite ironman film
There is something about the first iron man movie that it feels have more weight than any recent mcu movies It feels like this was made with more love and passion When mcu movies nowadays are forcely made and even looks bland when you see how bad the cgi compare to this movie
This movies used a little cgi, that why it felt more real. Though I have no problem with recent mcu movies cgi, there is some spot that the cgi felt off
Exactly. and on top of that, they took their TIME. The movie was in no hurry. There was time to write the story, there was time to make the sound effects, visuals effects, practical effects etc. When there is time, love and the desire to do something well, those things happen. Now it's all a fast food business, recordings on virtual screens (It is not a bad technology, it has potential. But it looks fake with bad direction), Horrible VFX (the artists don't have any time and they change things at the last minute), Bad stories (They approve of any basic script that uses the same formula instead of doing something right) etc...
Something about this movie just felt so good. It wasn’t very superhero-y. It felt a bit more relatable and grounded, which is something I never felt with the cartoons and comics. Man I miss this era of Marvel.
that suit-up scene will never fail to give me goosebumps.. the bolts turning and that lens distortion in the middle when the top of the suit comes down is just incredible attention to detail it looks so incredibly real and attainable
im more a fan of DC but i gotta say this is what marvel should be no garbage cgi and uneeded comedy we need more serious moments like this!! look at more recent marvel movies and then look at this notice the stark contrast (pun intened) bring back rdj and bring back serious moments and good cgi.

@@thegreenreaper6660 It only took one story from a friend of mine, who went to school with him here in Queens NY, to put him on an "A-hole" list. Professionally, I like his acting and directing.
There is so much I love about this, for one, the armor actually FEELS like armor. The way it's equipped to him and bolted on as opposed to just that nanobot nonsense in the later movies. This also feels alot more gritty and realistic than the later movies. It might be the filter or the cinematography but this really does just feel more real.
i miss Iron Man with all those bolts and iron before he became Nano Man
It's actually a Titanium-gold alloy

The fact that at 3:32 all music stops and all you hear are the servos and him breathing is absolute magic
That look of shock, horror and surprise on that kids face as the sound barrier is shattered from above gets me every time. It’s that moment iron man knew what his purpose was.
I love how much Homage was paid to Robocop.
The precise targeting. The Arms smashing through walls.
People saying that tony was brutal, but this wasn’t brutal, this was justice. Just like my man Joshua Graham, never hesitate to strike down evil.
people saying it's brutal it's those sissies who like disney+
@@mikesterlucky13 you don’t have to sound like an ass about it. It makes you sound immature.
For me this battle was clean. He shut down those terrorists without harming a single innocent life, and crippled their ability to continue their offensive.
Gaza people need Iron man too.
Womp womp get over it
Iron Man is killing Hamas in this video.
3:13 gotta love that he visits his tinder app one last time before being yanked out by Ironman
Grinder
To be honest, nanotech is incredible, but the mechanical suit up looks way better.🤩
I cried out like a little kid at the cinema when he landed in that position.
I think it was just the big buildup to that moment that made it so good. You hear guns shooting, women and children crying out, enemies shouting and all of a sudden the roaring intensity of the incoming thrusters of the incoming suit and then BOOM, here I am, time for a little crap to hit the fan.
@@osbourne2811 um...are you criticizing how a film is made!?we love the build-up like this and scenes like these are bonus if a movie is awesome!!
@@dreamingsymphony Of course not. You must have misread what I wrote. I loved the movie, especially that scene.
@@dreamingsymphony can you fucking read??
Fun Fact, Afghanistan is around 7700 miles from Malibu where Tony lived, and Mark 3 can fly at Mach 1 (770mph)~
it means it took him around 10 hours to fly to Afganistan, that's some true dedication.
lol like the writers ever bother to think about these things
@ wierd travel plan
Was Mach 1 it’s maximum speed?
The most realistic super hero I've ever seen.
@@LukyArakunedesu You shared your opinion, I shared mine. It’s not a big deal, bud.
@@SunlightGwyn There is an amortisation layer, as we see when he puts on the suit. So the impact from tank bullet would be passedfrom metal chest to metal back. But it wouldn't save him from falling and hitting the ground, sudden stop will kill him.
3:21 "He's all yours!" I miss Tonys Armor voice. We never get to hear it again throughout the entire saga. Its deeper and more intimidating.
this. he reminds me of iroman from the og marvel vs Capcom.
This is such awesome wish-fulfillment for me. Imagine being able to see something fucked up on the news and just be like "aww HELL no" and just go take care of it. Real superhero shit.
🙏❤️
When I saw that scene from the movie, that was dramatic, epic, and amazing! BTW, I liked that scene when Tony told Afghanistan their murderer is all there's.
0:44 he’s pissed. This scene was always badass because they finally get some justice
2:21
*Deadpool:* Whoooo!!! Superhero landing!!! 👏👏👏👏
True definition of a hero
If only he could help them now in Israel 😢😔😔
so is Isreal supposed to be the helpless villagers and palestine are the10 Rings Insurgent? Isreal is the one occupying Palestine, this is a fact, look it up. The same way the 10 Rings are occupying the villages here. Palestine also don't have an army or any real means of deffending themselves, the same as the villagers, while the 10 rings like Isreal have all the fire power. And the 10 rings like Isreal got their weapons from america. So compare all of this again and you'll find that especially in this scene Isreal are the 10 Rings. If an Iron Man existed he'd be with Palestine, because he'd always stand up for people who can't defend themselves like the vilagers here and like palestine
This scene never gets old.
Some heros are not born they are built.. Tony stark💯
This one scene mixed with the one before where he was listening to the horrible news with almost rageful but teary eyes wanting to make a difference is why this is my personal favourite ironman film
There is something about the first iron man movie that it feels have more weight than any recent mcu movies
It feels like this was made with more love and passion
When mcu movies nowadays are forcely made and even looks bland when you see how bad the cgi compare to this movie
As soon as Iron Man withdrew from Afghanistan, the Taliban came back in. Thanks alot Tony.
This scene gets me every time, iron man always has been my favorite but this scene always solidified that decision
So he fly from his house in the USA directly in Afganistan 😮 nice
How fucking awesome would it be for them to re-release this in theaters? Probably still the best marvel movie in my opinion
Something about this movie just felt so good. It wasn’t very superhero-y. It felt a bit more relatable and grounded, which is something I never felt with the cartoons and comics. Man I miss this era of Marvel.
"He's aaall your's" is one of the best lines ever in filming history
2:16 will forever remember this exact scene 🤌🏽🔥🥹
Man that first punch is satisfying as hell.
Wham!
What a hit! Absolutely punted.
Oh absolutely, if that guy didn't die instantly he was for sure paralyzed from the neck down lol
that suit-up scene will never fail to give me goosebumps.. the bolts turning and that lens distortion in the middle when the top of the suit comes down is just incredible attention to detail
it looks so incredibly real and attainable
From Defeating Terrorists to Defeating Thanos.
The Journey was absolutely a Legend
Bro seriously took "My turn" to the next level, he demolished that tank in one try
Another great part of this scene is how little Tony Stark talks. He is 100% dead serious here.
He is out for war.
im more a fan of DC but i gotta say this is what marvel should be no garbage cgi and uneeded comedy we need more serious moments like this!! look at more recent marvel movies and then look at this notice the stark contrast (pun intened) bring back rdj and bring back serious moments and good cgi.
Man, I still can't believe how far marvel has come
It always surprised me how unpopular the character of iron man was before the mcu. I pretty much grew up loving the character
He's all yours. I love that line.
This scene hits different than any other in marvel. The cold fury, the deaths of evil men. Good stuff.
“He’s all yours”
It’s moments like that that make movies more than just a product of their time.
They guy in the tank must've spent some time with Hawkeye 🤣
0:00 Why is no one talking about this iconic suit up? Not only was this the first "official" Iron Man suit up, but the kick starter of the MCU
This is how a Legend was born...
Till this day i think this is the best mcu moment of all time.
Still the best suit up scene in my opinion 😅
Kinda wish they still used the voice modulator effect when Tony was in the armour. Of course, it became pretty redundant to use one after telling the world he was Iron Man, but it would've still been pretty cool.
Let's not pretend we've never had this exact fantasy. Seeing something awful on the news and just imagining how it would feel to get decked out in some sophisticated, high tech armour, go over there and stop it with minimal effort.
I remember seeing this in theaters when it first came out. My friends and I were blown away. Such a great action movie.
Man this scene was so awesome Disney and marvel did awesome stuff with marvel movies through out the years I enjoy watching every marvel movie including the marvel series on Disney plus
This was a time when Iron Man's armor was actually real and not a toy.
I understand the Nanotech Suit is basic evolution with the tech. But you seriously cannot beat this kickass suitup with piece by piece assembly.
Everytime I watch the part where he arrives gives me chills it's the best moment in a movie
Too bad he couldn’t save Afghanistan in real life
😂
2:20 is possibly the coolest thing I’ve ever seen not joking.
The mark 3. Literally the third suit every created can tank a..Well a tank shell. But people believe he actually lost to captain America lmao
It was a 2v1?
Mark 3 has to be one of my favourite suits, it just looks amazing and the SFX whenever he moves is perfection
Noone talks about how in this movie he had a voice changer he sounded so scary
“He’s all yours.” That was the first and last time iron man actually sounded like Ironman.
With the current situations of the world, Elon Musk should've tried to build something like this
We need to advance peace, not weapons
This will always be by far the best
Iron Man Scene, Suit, and best Iron Man movie of all time out of the 3
I wonder what happened with Marvel's CGI
as with most successful things. they can put 25% of the effort now and fangirls will lap it up.
This stuff was the shit. How mechanical everything looked and sounded. Nano suit was cool but it’ll never beat this
Now the same or worse is happening with palestine😢
Ahh those early days when I still don't know nothing about everything mcu
When Disney didn't put their filthy hands in.
OMG can people stop blaming Disney on everything? Did u forget that when Disney took over the movies became better or what?
