The Tony inventing scenes are some of the most hypnotic aspects of the MCU.
It's a shame that they didnt have time to really show him inventing time travel in Endgame.

In retrospect, the entire universe relied on Yensen not dropping that palladium
To this day I cringe when I watch him pour it. I feel like in reality if you pour the way he did, it would trickle down the side.

What happen if the palladium dropped?
@@AxellMorren I imagine he'd have to end up building the Jericho missile, and then he'd probably be executed by the Ten Rings since he was set up by Obby
In reality, Yinsen saved Tony's life. In my opinion, he's the first Avenger.
This is why he’s allowed to say, “If you’re nothing without the suit then you shouldn’t have it.”
Ya know your not wrong🧐
Usually superhero comments are cringe but I actually like this one
Man, maketh suit. ;)
True, just doesn't make sense for Peter's character to say that
Tony also proved that point in iron man 3, where he did most of the action outside of the suit.
I love how Tony had this whole arc reactor blueprinted in his mind when he started asking for the equipment

@@trivonnereid8877 Nah, that’s Dr. Strange

I was thinking that too. originally Rhodey (War Machine) stole Tony's suit and share it with the army and Justin Hammer so imagine if he stayed bad and never joined Tony Stark and if Yinsen lived to work with Tony helping with and possibly being War Machine
Definitely need a what if episode
@KVAcedo27 yeah much like Phil Coulson MCU death pushed the Avengers to actually come together and fight

1:37 Yinsen's reaction to Tony meeting him for the "first time" is clever especially since iron man 3 wasn't even in the works when iron man 1 came out. We all know that they met before in the beginning of iron man 3 with that flashback. I think I love the MCU movies so much because the continuity in the plot is fairly consistent.
Yinsen mentions them meeting in the first movie. "If I was that drunk I couldn't stand, let alone give a speech" or something like that.

Invincible Speaker 69 likes *lenny face*
Tony was the first to miniaturize the arc reactor, though. In fact, Tony's the inventor of the arc reactor tech. Why the MCU deviated from the source material and made Howard the predecessor of some of Tony's inventions is beyond me. (I'm being rhetorical, I know why - movie Howard would have no inventions to speak of, otherwise.)
Invincible Speaker Give Ivan credit, he may have had blueprints but he also had to figure out how to miniaturize it. Then he went on to build a better one that powered his suit and the lashes attached to it.
Phantom Penance Wait wasn't he also on Brain steroids?
Despite all of Tony Stark's MANY personality flaws, he truly did have the greatest brain to achieve the impossible. Miniaturizing his Arc Reactor was just the first of many miracles he achieved through science

Based on movie, the only for his hands to get heal is to go back in time before the accident to prevent it, thus making it impossible in the first place to meet the Ancient One and learn magic.
However, there are other ways to heal his hands, but with the logic of the movie, you are stuck in only 1 way to do it.

3 gigajoules per sec.....

Also completely unrealistic as even if palladium had the energy density of uranium which I'm pretty sure it doesn't. He would burn through all of it within a minute.

For anyone curious enough; 3 gigajoules per second (GJ/s) is an average of 3 gigawatts, which is, 3 billion watts.
For comparison, the largest power plants you'll find run at 1 GW. To put it another way, 3 GW is about 2/3 the power output of the entire Fukushima generating complex. Let's say the reactor works with 99% efficiency - something which simply doesn't happen. That means that 1% of the output will be in the form of heat. That's 30 MW (megawatts) of heat energy being produced inside Tony Stark's chest. As a reference point, Anglesey Aluminum, a British plant which produced 144,000 tons of aluminum per year, needed 255 MW, so you've got the heat output of a small (15,000 tons/year) smelter being cooled by Tony's blood. That will work for a (very small) fraction of a second before he explodes into a cloud of steam and flesh fragments.
So basically, you need a reactor composed entirely of unobtanium and cooled by massive amounts of handwavium. Aka its straight up impossible - sorry
Yes because that’s the only impossible thing about iron man
Gigajoules already means watts per second so he really said 3 gigawatts per second per second. He’s got an accelerating reactor lmao, thing’s going to be producing 180 gigajoules by the end of the minute
