    You can try invideo AI for free, but if you are serious about video creation you should get a paid plan that starts at just $20/month which is the one that I have and it will remove the watermark + give you access to voice cloning and high quality stock footage. Just go to invideo.io/i/Aperture and use my code APERTURE50 to get twice the number of video generation credits in your first month.

They are what can only be described as 'Neo Boomers' who have the same aptitude for understanding technology as Boomers did with VHS players... Have you ever seen a Gen Alpha when their Windows 10/11 or Mac computer/laptop stops working? They panic and have no idea how to fix it, then along comes a Millenial to hit CTRL-ALT-Delete to find out the offending process to kill. The thing is, at least the Boomers knew how to do old school stuff that had been somewhat forgotten by Gen-X and fairly forgotten by Millenials, but Gen Alpha literally cannot function outside of a perfectly working iPad or iPhone screen. @@Funkteon You aren't not alone, it's honestly not even a generational thing now. It's a world-wide/cross generational acceptance of, yet ignorance of, technology and intellect as a whole. It's something in the air, water, social fabric, and schools. Stupidity is on the uptick, and it will be for a long time given the circumstances. Just think, nearly 200 years ago Christian Nestell Bovee said, "No man is happy without a delusion of some kind. Delusions are as necessary to our happiness as realities." even in 1862 we needed to create false truths to keep sane. Now people steep their lives in delusion. Doom scrolling and believing everything their bubble says. Imagine what some adults do instead of taking care of their kids? Doom scroll. I think we need to stop seeking "happiness" or the next dopamine hit and start focusing on our needs. If we can satisfy our needs as a society we can then focus on happiness. But before all, I think we need to do something about what smartphones and tablets are doing to us all, social media really. Not that we really have a chance of stopping what's started.

      @@FunkteonYou know that's a lie Gen Z and most of Gen alpha (At least in the future) have a much better understanding of software and some hardware than Millennials and will have more time in young life to adapt to change there is nothing comparable about highly complicated hardware like a modern computers and a VHS and seeing the fact that Many Gen Z already know a decent amount about computers in order to actually put one together (without assistance) and as we get older chances are this skill will stay and evolve in some even when it adapts to newer tech it would still be leagues above their seniors the problem isn't not knowing enough it's knowing just enough about a subject to hold basic conversation but not a thoughtful one however it's the opposite for the other half where they struggle in more basic areas but run laps around their peers and mile long laps around their seniors in certain areas such is the pressing issue in the "Information age"
      P.S You cannot manage Gen alpha workers yet, with the oldest only being fourteen they can't even obtain workers permits in most places.

      I did teach my kids to read English on an iPad using a paid program called reading eggs.
      They did watch RUclips, but I had full control of it. Their favorite RUclipsr was DanTDM by 2015.
      I do remember the elsagate and daddy finger videos early on in maybe 2012 or 2013, really badly made pre-coco melon slop..
      Actually very early on, I had a device that I could use to broadcast my MacBook to my tv. Back then we had Justin.tv and someone would stream old cartoons like talespin, gummy bears, etc so my kids watched a lot of that too.

      I agree with this, though I think that this time is different. Why? Because the things we're worried about aren't ONLY affecting the next generation. They're affecting the previous generations too. TV and video games didn't really have much impact on the generations that came before, and even when they did, that impact wasn't often very negative.
      But with new technology and social media, it's literally making people more depressed, isolated, and prone to malignant personality disorders. If it's harming adults this badly I think it's really fair to worry about the harm it would do to children.

    This was truthfully profound! People say I'm a Millennial, but I'm not. But for the sake of the conversation let's say I am. Thanks to this video, now I understand how Gen Alpha thinks, how they see the World, and how I can practically help them. How we can all help them and ourselves, and reverse the mess we are in. Nobody's entirely to blame, but we must take responsibility for it. If the room is ugly sweep the floors, vacuum the carpets, Windex the windows, wipe down the tables, wash the dishes, etc. Find something to do. My Father says, "Even if you don't see it, there's always something to do."

    As a Millenial leader of Gen-Z employees and a relative of Gen Apha kids, I can assure you that they will not change the world/society in positive ways. They literally don't know how anything works - like - at all... I just cannot fathom how they're going to be a helpful demographic of humans over the next 20-30 years...

      This is same for all. I wont' defend that , screen is not the problem but content. Old folks keep saying that and even some millenials . There was a time when books were the problem. Books ruined people from going out and all , now it replace with computer . Then phone . Then other stuff.
      every gen has same views. My parents use to say they read books but their parents say same to them that they should go outside and play , books ruin your eyes with tiny letters and unhealthy to not go out . or fill your mind with nasty stuff. Then same happen with me and my computer . I am late to phone. I own phones but I feel computer natural. Lots of people are used to phone and that's okay !
      healthy use matters.
      I don't like generational flex nor do i support it.

    by the way, as a piece of useful information, screen time doesnt refer to simply watching a screen. It refers to all the little things that make our mental health worsen, like for example the 60 second format of youtube shorts and tiktok and all of that. I almost never use instagram or twitter, i dont even have tiktok. But i am on my PC all day long, watching streams, or anime, or playing something, things like that, and i do not suffer from these symptoms that many people from gen z and alpha do suffer from. My point is, dont get fixated on the screen thing. You need to look at the content and format of what you're consuming. If youre 8 hours a day watching shorts on youtube, you have a mental problem. If youre 8 hours a day on the PC doing various things like watching or playing what you feel like watching or playing, then youre fine and thats totally normal. There are some misconceptions with this topic because decades ago, it was literally bad for your eyes to look at screens too much. But now, with the most recent technologies that use different kinds of light, the only instance in which you can have your sight worsen because of screens is if you are looking at the screen from too close of a distance, which makes you force your eyes more and it eventually takes a toll on you. So if you are worried about having to wear glasses 5 years from now, dont be, just look at the screen from a farther distance and you'll be okay, dont strain your eyes

      @sofia.avocado12 Yes but only reason was me being mentally mature for my age, I wasn't influenced by the general public. But back in that time social media wasn't this brain goupe it is now. It was still a place people would share a meme or 2 and post about their lives. Especially if you only interacted with family posts. My first social was Facebook, I was introduced to a lot of mature subjects growing up playing Gta at 6 but understanding it's fake and not to re inact it. That lacks in today's kids, it's rare. I do agree 12 is young but honestly you can only keep a kid away from it for so long until they find a way, at least you know they are on it and can monitor it.

    Easy fix, don't get burned out from too much screen time, computers don't become tired, and even the most agile mentality needs to breathe real air now and then, which is another thing computers don't do, breathing, they can remind US to breathe but the reminder doesn't come with the same sense of urgency or nuance, also, the idea of taking a break to avoid burnout reinforces the notion of taking time to come up with fresh new ideas about things, instead of asking AI to think for us.

    I had no plans of watching this whole video yet here I am at the end about to subscribe writing this comment. Amazing work sir and I have never been so captivated by such a boring video with a boring goal, Point A to point B. That is just boring yet here I am wanting more of this boring video simply because this boring video showed a lot of what we miss out on, human interactions, genuine kindness, patience and care along with the arrogance and ill-treatment you may get for exploring foreign lands. Beautiful Film. I would like to invite to to explore South Africa but here my sir you need a car for your own safety unfortunately. Our country is very beautiful. The people are very nice but you will encounter some poor behaving people since we are a country that potentially houses as many citizens as much as there are foreigners. You are an explorer so you know where to go and where not to go but such a movie would be amazing.

      True. But the thing about every single thing or quantity in this universe is that there is always a threshold, a maximum when reached completely breaks down or destroys the already-known concept. We still aren't fully aware of the effects of mobile devices in the long run and now we are exposing them to AI This could lead to a situation like when mercury was on the rage but no one knew just how dangerous it was.
      All I'm trying to say is yes, they can adapt, but what happens if they don't or reach the limits of human physiology in a bid to adapt?

    The moment our ancestors began shaping their environment, they assumed a vast responsibility not just to their environment in that time, but the environment of the future.
    Environment dictates behavior. Its a fundamental function of matter, living or otherwise.
    All the issues in our world, beyond feeding ourselves and shelter, are 100% of our own creation.
    We shaped our civilizations, ergo, we have shaped the minds of its inhabitants. Unfortunately, its incredibly difficult to become truly aware of this. There's still hope, just not much left.

    I'm pretty sure Gen Alpha is in fact NOT the first generation to be born with access to the internet. For sure, Gen Z did as well. Perhaps some of the Millennials born right on the cusp of Gen Z could perhaps have had access since birth, but I know computers were a lot less accessible in those days. But the internet was definitely around, as were computers. So if you want to get very technical, even Millennials COULD have had access to the internet since birth. But 100% Gen Z did. They were also raised on it.

    • @say_ten_666
      @say_ten_666 2 месяца назад

      Correct. Millennials were the first 'digital natives' and the term was originally coined to describe them. All three generations are digital natives with Millennials being 'desktop native', Gen Z being 'smartphone native' and Gen Alpha being 'iPad/tablet native'.

      Anyway I’m sorry to tell you but millennials are the ones who have created everything wrong now. Social media used today was made by millennials. AI was made by millennials. Crypto is made by millennials. Gen alpha is lately made by millennials too….. 😬 haha.

    An ox also known as a bullock is a bovine, trained and used as a draft animal. Oxen are commonly castrated adult male cattle;

    Does this mean that as Gen z, we need to secure our infrastructure? Make sure every house sees power as a necessity like water? I think we shouldn't see this as a bad thing. Change is inevitable, but how we respond defines who we are in my mind. Im worried about war using nuclear weapons and how emps would affect peoples ability to function at the level they already do on top of limited resources and rampant inflation. I think the biggest risk with technology is over reliance.
