89 Batmobile, 89 Batwing, Dark Knight Tumber, The Batman Technic set.... Just when I think my Batmobile collection is complete, Lego has to go and draw me in again.
While building this set I actually came across an Easter egg about the set itself. And it is very small but on the steering wheel where the speedometer is where it has the mileage it reads 7,632.8 is the set number included in the build. That is pretty cool.
I really liked this build, however the flat wheel wells are unrealistic. I changed them to be more round/curved as they are on the real 1966 batmobile.
I think my only gripes in this set is the non opening doors and only having the trunk open but that is not a big deal as I have a model kit of this car from polar lights and it too also has an opening trunk for the bat computer. Only having a Batman mini fig, why no love for Robin, even the smaller mini fig scale 60s Batmobile did not have one. I do like that while the finished model has lots of 'bat this and bat that labels' on the build you can leave some of them off if you want it more like the show (real car did not say 'bat ray' on the car's body or 'bat chutes' on the parachutes on the back of the car etc).
With Batman being my favorite hero, I absolutely love this set!
I will be adding this to my collection. What I would love to see next is a collector series Speed Racer Mach 5.
GO! SPEED RACER! GO!
The original cartoon version Mach 5!

I really like it. But, only one mini fig. No Robin or Joker?
NICE! Although the steering wheel needs modifying to look like the original, I think. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
Was ist das denn? Keine Lenkung? Und das für den Preis? Nee, vielen Dank.
I’m having issues with the wheels not rotating right?
How many bags
Where´s Robin??
Ich bruche das fur mine collection
Is it me, or are those translucent pieces not showing up over the white background? It's very hard to tell what they are.
