Ranked isn’t necessarily slower, but everyone is playing for something so your opponents aren’t quite as sweaty and there’s some actual tactics. It's the most fun shooter in terms of mechanics still, but it is plagued by technical issues like bad audio and bugs. The skill ceiling is higher than ever and continues to get higher, so be prepared for a STEEP learning curve
