    Thankyou. I've bought 1 and needed to adjust ride position. Great fun bike isn't it! 😊

    Hi Jedz Moto, just wondering about how you made more clearance for your right foot. Did you bend the whole exhaust towards the bike? How did you bend it? Thank you

    I have a 2019 Street Rod, and I wonder if they've done something with the tires? I have almost 2,600 miles on mine, and my back tire doesn't have anywhere near as much wear as shown in your video. I haven't changed the seat or handlebars yet, but I did take the baffle out of the intake which gave it a very nice sound and made it a bit more responsive.

    Hey! Do you still have this bike... i ended up getting one exactly like this. Have a question, When you installed the handlebar risers, did you have to swap out any cables. Mine showing signes of an overstretched accelerator cable, each time i have to turn hard left, the grips just loose the initial play and rev the motor up high. Tried all kinds if cable adjustments, no luck.

      I used the stock cables on mine. Might need to try rerouting the cable to find slack. I don't have the bike anymore so I can't recall how I rerouted than. Thanks for tuning in and enjoy you bike!

    Hey man, I also just got mine, however I have some problems with the security system it seems. Whenever I try to move the bike around while engine is off, the alarm goes off, irrespective to what position the key is in (ignition/acc/off, whichever). The fob is of course hung on the key. Also I sometimes get "NO FOB" message on the little screen while riding. Have you experienced any of this?

    Interested to know how you tucked the exhaust in, as the standard location of the right peg is crazy.. thanks in advance!

    Hey, I just got mine a couple days ago and I wanted to know if your warranty was voided when you changed the exhaust?

    • @Jedz123
      @Jedz123  7 лет назад

      Technically yes. However I slip the stock muffler back on whenever I bring it in for work. The catylist is apart of the header pipe so keep that stock. My airbox is stock, the slip on really just effects the noise. If you don't want to void your warranty but want to be loud just run a slip on and swap back and forth for service runs. I've had warranty work done on it already and they told me to come in with the stock exhaust system installed. Warranty work was free...

      Jedz 123 OK, thanks. Also how difficult is it to install a slip on( This is my first bike)?

    Just over 500 miles on my Grey Denim.
    An idea for the space under your seat. Blk Foam pipe insulation or Silicone tubing, small dia. Use blk shrink tube to create a gasket.

    U recon changing the handle bar to something similar like street 750 or a raised bar like the old fat boy would make riding easier ??? Cause handle bars rnt that expensive either , m not much into straight bars .

  • @aftabsyed
    @aftabsyed 6 лет назад

    That’s very good. I can see the handle bar was raised. Can you please confirm whether you had to alter any cable for the same. How much is the bar raised?

    • @Jedz123
      @Jedz123  6 лет назад

      You do need to reroute cables some but no need for new cables. I believe the bar was raised and pulled back about 3". Made a huge difference in comfort!!!

    I'm at 500 kms now...
    And I have yet to figure something out...
    Where the hell is the storage compartment?!? Why didn't this come with tools? lol.
    But most importantly, how the hell did you remove the seat?!?!? Even the back seat doesn't seem to come off for me.

    No more Street Rod updates? :-)
    I just hit 2,200 kms, I figured out how to remove the rear seat too! lol.
    I was wondering if you got a tuner for yours, and if it was worth it.
    I am debating trying to move the pegs back a bit. Looks like a lot of work.
    I am used to the driving ergos, its when I stop at the light I find myself wanting to put my legs right where the pegs are.
    Also trying to find a fender eliminator kit for the rear. It would make the swing arm look stretched.

      haha no I just closed on my first home and between that and riding I'm pretty busy. I have about 6K miles on it so far and still need to make my 5K mile review.

    I have sat on this bike a couple of times. As you mentioned you have a Japanese exhaust on this Harley. I think your are the first my man.
    I know Harley is trying to get new and younger riders into the fold. With there 500 and 750 more smaller under the 883 for a cruiser. And now this as more I wanna hit some canyons to drag a knee. To me this can be turnt into cafe racer. I like the Roadster from Harley but the peg position sucks for me when putting my feet down in a stop.
    It be interesting to see if they come out with a upright naked cyn carver minded bike that can build off this platform or give us a new design.
    But like the review and I like that your going a route to not put Harley parts but totally a different with that exhaust I bet no one seen that coming on a Harley. I also like how men and women tinker micky mouse there setups to work for them.
    Good job for being different ride safe for sure enjoy the moto. Keep the vids coming.

      Thanks man. The pipe cost me 40 bucks and it sounds AWESOME. I just got back from bike week and I'm pushing 5K miles. Running my TU250X for the time being to get some good MPGs. I have engine guards and highway pegs coming in so that I can extend the range, I believe that coupled with a windshield I'll be in good sorts for my 4K mile trip to southern Ohio/ The tail of the dragon and up the Blue Ridge Parkway. I will easily grab 10K miles on this bike this year... I hope they release a 1200 of this engine it would make it a true monster and force to be reckoned with. We will see, issue being is the 750 already out performs the 1200 Sportster and a 1200 Street would be the fastest bike in the lineup and I'm unsure Harley would want that... Time to change it up guys!

    • @cliffordcommanda6105
      @cliffordcommanda6105 7 лет назад

      I am interested in how the highway pegs workout for you. As well as a windshield. BTW, my shocks seem a little rough. Do they loosen up over time? I set mine as low as possible in the rear, that helped... Should I mess with the reservoirs?

    i am riding the street rod f0r 1000 miles now and i am a short guy could you specify which handle bar risers you used and if they are easy to install or if modifications are necessary

    • @Jedz123
      @Jedz123  7 лет назад

      They are just universal 7/8" bar risers... I'm closing in on 7K miles now and I couldn't have made it without them. If you can't install bar risers then you shouldn't do any MC repairs... Super easy, you don't even need to adjust your cables.

    • @Jedz123
      @Jedz123  7 лет назад +1

      I took it down for I wasn't too happy with it. I'm working on my 5K mile review now! I'm going to make a documentary style with it and I will talk about some of the short comings. I had a one on one with Harley about the issues and they are very appreciative of the feed back. I'm sure next years model will address some of the issues. I have a more detailed talk with Harley where we will go through my bike and talk about the issues, take pictures and discuss possible ways to correct. The motor company firmly stands behind its product and I feel very confident I made the right choice in my purchase. Plus the soundtrack of my 3K mile review was HORRID ;)

    • @Jedz123
      @Jedz123  7 лет назад +1

      I wouldn't want it then... They brought the displacement up to a 1000 or 1200 and tuned it so max power was in the 9-10K range it would be a MONSTER in the mountains. It walks away from the stock touring models with current pipe and tire setup (not tuned). I would like to see some sprocket options to gear higher or full on chain conversion kits for it. The 45' V-twin is a taller motor then the 60' here in the Street-Rod. We will see which way this bike goes in R&D over the next couple of years when I look to upgrade.
