The only thing that was missing in this story was a full on wolfman transformation by the full moon. There has always been a debate. During the lesser phases of the moon does a wolf man fully wolf out??? Obviously in this movie they don't. That was what was missing. That is what everybody wanted to see in the name wolfman! Overall, I love this movie. The wife, in this the actress did not put very much salt or expression in this. Mostly she just stood around looking depressed and frowning. She has no emotion. That is the thing about being an actress. That's what you paid an actress for. But the girl and the man who played the father were excellent.
I thought it was good. More kind of just what I expected. Not ground breaking but good. I feel like there is only so much that can be done with classic characters like the wolf man, Dracula, Frankenstein etc.
I'd guve it a 6 out of 10. The sceneries were awesome, not just the valley view, but also the forest. The werewolves were ok. The atmosphere in the farm house rang true. I didn't like the relationship between father and son. Too cliché. I agree .. Julia gardner is not doing it for me either and the little girl was great. I think we'll see child actor again.
