The MF 2725 is out on the draw for the first time (minus a window and some doors) - can she handle it?! Liv, George & Stephen are on the draw and i get a few load with the 2725 while Uncle Ian minds the pit. Bro gets to try out the 2725 too.
Father Phil bogs the harvester to her b*llcks! Needing a pull out with the new & improved Venieri shovel.

Hi Phill, used to work for an agri contractor, who had a neighbour, also contractor who, back in the late 80's early 90's pulled a New Holland 6" Double Chop with a 2720 MF, verry nice tractor, Verry Slow tractor. Great Video, Nice to see ian back on the Pit. 3am very late finish. what time were ye up next day???. Are you going to do a proper restore job on the 2720, She deserves it , if it is as good as you say, 147hp - nice to have around, Love the perkins 6cyl engine. Dont leave it with rusty sides, Repair or replace,make it look as it should, How is the 590 and the 8011, 2 tractors which in todays farms can make a valuable contribution. 590 MF with Perkins 249 engine- same as 188, and 8011 10hp more, great pulling tractor and very good hydrolic pump for its (and present) time. Crash Box gear box but you can time the gear changes and with practice and if you are good can drive it like it had syncro. 188 had 540 PTO which ran at 620, not sure about the 590 with Hydrolic PTO, Most 590's in Ireland had a 3 Spool hydrolic system, 2 main and 1 for 3 function, such as loader quick attach/remove of fork/bucket. That system also matched the volvo 4200BM articulated loader, so you could go from the Volvo to the 590 with loader (MF80) and nothing changed except clutch for forwarf/reverse. Hydrolic leavers were same position and function. Loved the DB 1210, DB1412, MF188, MF590, JD3130 4WD and 3140 2WD, Volvo 4200BM and also JD digger, MF165Mk1, DB1200, MF575 (Tanko Wrapper) Fiat 110/90, MF698 and MF699, MF 1135. (Guzzler) but lovely.
