What's up, dude! Thanks for visiting me 😉 Yes, that's how the theater was when it was built. As you can see it was bigger, I guess that's the reason why there is a large plot behind the stage. When I was a child I believed that the ruins of historical monuments were how they had really been built 🤣🤣 I think you are right, Spain values its historical monuments (sometimes not) but that is something that I also perceive in countries like Korea. I have realized that you have very well preserved historical monuments. Yes, it's a stair! 😆 Although I still don't know why it has those shapes, as soon as I find out I will let you know 😉 Thank you !! 😆 That day was really hot weather 🥵 I'm really glad I talked to you. Very enjoyable once again. My first impression as you enter the museum is - what a beautiful job they did in blending the modern with the ancient. The dark marble floor with the stone walls - made from the same stone as the ancient theater I would guess - just beautiful. And the same is true of the theater itself. It's great how they rebuilt some sections of the stage and the seating where it probably was very decayed over the centuries, so you can see how it looked back then, and yet you see the original blended right in. Amazing that it was buried until 1988!

I have been looking at pics of the state of the theater when it was found and it has really been an absolute but very careful change. In Spain there was also a very controversial restoration, it was the Roman theater in Sagunto. If you are interested, you can watch pics of this theater to check the difference . Yes, I am also surprised that it had been buried so long. It seems that many buildings were built over the centuries on top of the ruins, such as a Byzantine cathedral.
