  • If you want to balance risk and return, then you can vary the mix of stocks and bonds in your portfolio. But how do you go about choosing the funds, how many funds do you need, and how can you implement the strategy cheaply on Trading 212?
In this video, we answer those questions and provide a starting point so that you can build and adjust your own multi-asset portfolios inspired by Vanguard's LifeStrategy funds.

Great video and one for novice investors to really take note of.
Illustrates how you can utilise T212 to simulate a retirement fund for long term investment.
Crucially, the lack of trading fees combined with low ETF expense ratios makes for very cheap investing!

Hi, great video. Just wondering as some of the base currency is USD/Euro in the Instrument details document, does this mean your asset mix ETFs would incur a fx fee?

For the 100% stocks portfolio at least, it seems like the ratios should be more like: US 59%, Europe 19%, Japan 6%, EM 14%, APxJ 2%. The overweight towards Europe in particular in the vid is significant.

Nice vid, but the weightings are surprising. 9% Japan seems overweight, as does 27% Europe. 50% US meanwhile seems quite underweight... I trust Ramin of course but how come these numbers are so far from market cap weighted? Is that representative of a tilt that LS itself takes?

At 1:46 LS 100 had a 25% drawdown according to the graph, not 30%.
