    I had Russian language courses in college many, many years ago, long before laptops existed. My teacher stressed learning cursive, and all work had to be written that way. To this day, even though my proficiency in Russian waned over the years, i still to this day remember the proper way to write in Russian. In fact, my Russian cursive is a lot better than my English cursive.

      Russian cursive is so fluid, and there's a lot less dotting i's and crossing t's, just the occasional ё, й, and optional lines for ш and т

    I'm over here telling Daria through my phone that I can see myself using лишили more often than expected. 😂😢
    I am new to learning Russian and am learning strictly by Pinterest, the Russian Reader app and videos on RUclips. Russian cursive far exceeds English cursive in my opinion.

Кстати, забавно, что многие европейские (и русские) писатели имели ужасный почерк, однако в Китае все образованные люди,а тем более писатели или мыслители считали должным иметь превосходный калиграфический скилл. Большое спасибо. It's crazy, though, to see a teacher actually telling the students to keep connections low for certain combinations. I see some handwriting, where people love making this connections to л, м so high that the connections interfere with the word.
    Ok, in English, the trail on o is higher than a. But in Russian, both connections are low. Is the only way to distinguish is to lift the pen to make a notch in the upper right portion?

    • @AKWoland
      @AKWoland 4 года назад +1

      На самом деле мало кто пишет так, чтобы все буквы сливались. Обычно между буквами намеренно растягивается промежуток, чтобы визуально их было легко отделить друг от друга. Русский - мой родной язык, но я курсивом не пишу, хотя умею (должен признать, не очень хорошо), поскольку обычно это трудно прочитать другим людям.

    • @Alexander.Kravchenko
      @Alexander.Kravchenko 2 года назад +1

      It's optional. You may use underline, if you like it. I think maybe one of 10-20 russian people use it

      I practiced on a whiteboard until I felt comfortable with the basic strokes, then made flashcards of vocabulary I knew as to quickly recognize words in their “fancy” form.
