I think Lenny Maclean did turn into a bit of a monster, and I imagine there was a time when not many people would have defeated Lenny outside of a boxing ring. They may have been able to beat Lenny in a boxing ring, but outside of one it would have been different. But it wasn't always like that, Lenny wasn't always 23 stone, and Ray knew him long before Lenny turned into the fighting machine he is famously known as. Ray has said that once Lenny became the 23 stone steroid monster, he wouldn't have fancied fighting him, but don't slag Ray off for telling you all about how Lenny was years earlier, when he wasn't quite so scary.

Hi Ray,Cliff Fields extremely hard man and ex pro so he had huge advantage over Lenny,very strong too,i respect Lenny as he had no boxing experience and still had a go ,you know like me take bottle to get in that ring, personally i don't think you would have too much trouble if you fought him,once to weather the storm would be easy for you,you had excellent training and sparing and great heart,hope book is coming on well and hope you haven't had any more silly boys calling you?all the best Ray🥊🥊
