  • Join us on an exciting adventure as we tackle the Tarmachan Ridge in reverse direction, setting out from the Ben Lawers Car Park in Scotland.
In this captivating vlog, we take an unconventional approach, embarking on the challenging ridge walk first, followed by the exhilarating ascent of the Munro, Meall nan Tarmachan, which soars to 1,044 meters.
Leisurely start: Begin with us on the south mountain road, where we enjoy a relaxed two-and-a-half-mile stroll to the mountain path, setting the tone for a leisurely yet thrilling day of exploration.
Into the clouds: Ascend with us to the 700 to 800-meter mark, where we enter the mysterious realm of cloud cover. While it may have hidden the views, the calm and serene atmosphere it created added an enchanting twist to our adventure.
Tarmachan Ridge allure: Discover the rugged beauty of the Tarmachan Ridge as we navigate its undulating terrain and challenging scrambles.
Summit triumph: After completing the ridge in reverse, we ascend Meall nan Tarmachan, standing tall at 1,044 meters, and celebrate the sense of accomplishment that comes with conquering this stunning Munro. We will return to complete this on a day which is less overcast.

Thanks Grant. I appreciate that. Sadly due the low clouds we couldn't bring you views from the summit. Maybe next time. 😊
