Hate to get all philosophical, but watching this made me realise that Fist Bump is more than just the one actually great thing about Sonic Forces, or the game's theme song.
It's a metaphor for the entire Sonic franchise.
Think about it. The number of scenes in this video where the song made sense. Sonic, Tails and Knuckles in Sonic Heroes. Sonic and Shadow in Sonic X. Sonic and Chip in Sonic Unleashed. Classic and Modern Sonic in Sonic Generations.

@@Coco_1958 In short: Friends = Power in the Sonic series. Notice how in every game in the series, Sonic has to team up with someone in some way to achieve his goal. Hence the examples above. And Fist Bump is pretty much That: The Song
