Thanks! Always wondered about this - seemes like it should be a default railing in revit template as its so common... Q. At top of stair I want handrail to return to wall an extension - as the (existing) stair wall does not extend beyond top stair riser (knee wall in attic for example) - do you know how to create that return (as in some of the photos you show - where there is not a level horiz. leg at end of railing - rail just 90 degrees into wall) ... Hello, can you make the extension connection to be at the slanted angle of the handrail? Because the extension is horizontal
the extension usually is on landings, and to maintain the fixed standard height they should be horizontal.
