Those teens and that doctor remembering that small fire in 2020:
"ah shit"
A police district larger than the UK! LOL! Unimaginable.
Ok so apparently there version of casualty is way doffing then mine my god lol I thought they died 😂
It’s ashame trees can’t stop drop and roll
Jenna&Anya Yeah, but a burn is likely needed every few years if it’s anything like our Chaparral. Fertilizes the soil etc.
QuietBloom not an uncontrolled and started by stranded people kind of fires. 😬🥴
Welcome to the diabetic call! "Did you eat anything today sir or madame? No. Ok....well, how about we hook you up to some D10..." And no tools to dig line with....
Geniuses those kids. Put that whole flight crew at risk.
These teams are fantastic, God Bless each and everyone of them, and there families.
Great flight
I found your vlogs Thursday, August 9th. I am from Texas. I am truly enjoying your shows. I pray to visit Australia one day, good Lord willing.
Hopefully you get a chance to visit Australia.
A lot of excitement.
Quite strange isn’t it that a “wild” fire started right next to the stranded men that close to when the chopper arrived?!?!?! I think this was started by the men and I am really curious if they fessed up about it!!!!!
What probably happened was they might have had a small fire overnight that they thought was "dead" in the morning. The helicopter stirred up the embers underneath that were still slowly burning and suddenly added oxygen and spread them to dry underbrush. Boom. Bush fire
I did not expect my local airport town Merimbula to be on this show.
I kept forgetting that they use casualties much differently than we do in the U.S. I always think everyone died.
Kurt sounds so kind. Welcome to Oz!.
I was born in Bega nsw
I,live 8m Finley NSW with my Pom hubby + 2 boys 10 & 14yrs
I’m a Registered Nurse + Midwife
My new born son and I were flown from merimula to camberra they really are amazing
Francesca Fournair nice spelling
Kind of put off the fact they making it seem that its the British as part of all our emergency services here in Australia lol
Bryan Bartlett this appears to have been filmed as brits moving to Australia
Well it's a show following the British responders who work in Australia it says it in the description..
I know what you mean......its the fact that they make out that the Poms are our ONLY emergency responders.....
The series was originally made for British television - I think it was originally transmitted on the BBC. It would certainly fit with the BBC's "Wanted Down Under" - a series about families considering emigrating to Australia.
Certainly as a Brit I'm in no doubt that the majority of emergency workers in Australia are Australian born.
David Wood I’d rather have someone as an emergency responder that I can understand, Then someone I can’t. I’m not racist but most hospitals have Language restricted medical personnel.
I’m also a Registered Nurse + Midwife
My dad was on the c-pap and bi-pap but nothing was helping due to the condition he was in unfortunately he lost his battle in March and sadly grew his wings hope this little boy gets better 👏
😪❤
Okay how did the bushfire start at 4:50 mins? The kids look totally unaware of it, and it was not noticeable from the air when they are flying in to the location. A Spark from the equipment or just aided by the hovering helicopter?
Those fools probably tossed a cigarette, they didn't look like aparticular bright mob.😂
oooh that ticking noise hurts my ears
So is this basically a recruiter video to attract doctors to the UK?
I had this
Laying on my TV and then I fell and broke
my arm
This was first broadcast as a different show.
I have to wonder what the decision tree was that led to this repackaging
Actually I wonder if the people who didn't watch the original version but would watch this version were Leavers
Am I really the only person that thinks the "3 walkers" in the beginning set the fire?!?!?!? What are the odds that a fire just happened to start right behind them while they were trying to flag down the chopper!!!
It was probably a campfire from the night before that got out of control. Cant blame them for that, the Blue Mountains can be bloody cold at night...... I highly doubt that they deliberately set fire to the bush BEHIND where they were sitting with a cliff face ahead of them though, not many Aussies are THAT stupid.
@@heatherrowles2580 I didn't think they were stupid, I thought they did it to signal the helicopter. When the chopper was flying in there was no smoke in the distance. It just appears out of nowhere 🤷♀️
@@debbiebsbooty thats why I think it was a campfire from the night before......the helicopter hovering overhead may well have caused it to reignite. I didnt say that you thought they were stupid, merely pointing out that the average Aussie is educated on fire danger from early childhood.....because of the lack of smoke earlier, I figured it was a campfire that they had quenched with sand....and that the sand blew away because of the helicopter.
@@MsDidi38 what exactly do you base that theory on?
@@heatherrowles2580 fires deliberately lit in the 80's Ash Wednesday fires, and 2009 Black Saturday fires in Victoria. Not a theory, just fact.
4 commercials for a 29 minute video. Unacceptable.
I have the orienteered in this area,my question be why would a diabetic not travel with insulin,I find that strange.Did I also not hear that the camera crew was lifted out due to the danger, probably channel 7 chopper.A fire suddenly started? No weather no lightning and that area has very little or no broken glass (magnify effect ).I have watched quite a few of these episodes and this one is my last,am calling FAKE on this one. That fire burnt for over a week and wasted the time and resources of a few different agencies also add the loss of animal life just for a set up scenario that got out of control. How do I know that well lets say I know the area and am a first responder,as in a real one.May I add I now live remote rural off grid and all these uploads deal with coastal response a task they excel under circumstances that most civilians would lay down and die,no offence meant to the personnel manning these units ,maybe they should look at the RFDS (Royal Flying Doctor Service) that cover inland remote rural.Just a thought but then again I guess a series about the actual vastness of Australia without the coastal city landmarks would not attract the same attention nor advertising revenue, but I digress I do that ...........................
lebanon? pf
So they are Brits?
It's a show following the British emergency responders in Australia
The Indigenous/Aboriginal community receives millions of dollars a year from the Australian taxpayer. Children and women in the outback are in serious danger of being physically and sexually abused by th males in their communities.
Congratulations, you have won!! That is THE most ignorant comment I have seen.
