- Firstly apologies in the poor sound quality the audio on the gopro is heavily clipped.
My first solo circuit at Gloucester Airport (EGBJ) - I completed a couple of circuits before heading out on my solo.
I got hit by a few gusts of wind and one just before the wheels touched down but I felt overall the circuit went well.
I cannot thank my friends enough who have taken me up flying in addition to my lessons this has helped me massively watching your technique and having extra time in the air.
I also want to thank all the staff at SFS they are such a friendly bunch and my instructor Jonathan who has got me this far so quickly.

Ha! Great to get the solo done. I remember how light the plane felt without the instructor. For recording audio, I bought an attenuator which I think drops the audio signal by -35dB. I found it helped a lot to get rid of the distortion. "Movo MV-RC100 3.5mm Male Line-in to Male Microphone Attenuator Cable for HDSLR Cameras" at amazon. Rory on Air does something similar.

Hi Chris, hope you are well. Just thought I would give you an update. I have now changed my gopro to line-in option and I also added the movo cable to my setup and the audio is now perfect so thank you for the tip. I will be uploading another video in a day so you can hear the improvements.

It was quite a bumpy day from memory. It was late afternoon and quite hot so catching the thermals. Was great fun though.
