I respect your dedication to the game, especially your recreations of actual tournament shots. The differences between your table and the actual tables does make your shots even more impressive. Thanks for you enjoyable posts.
Yet again another brilliant video, can't get enough of this. You always help nurse my Saturday morning hangover lol... Cameron from Livingston west lothian
@@ThePrimeMinisterOfTheBlock He had his own table at home ,at the time ,when he moved to Ireland ,due to their Covid restrictions ,he couldn’t even get on a club practice table .I’m sure that would have been the main reason .
Jimmy and Alex were the best of the best even with how few world titles they had, in Jimmy's case, none. Forever the people's champions, much love, Noah from Albany New York USA.
Stood the test of time...his masse shot is probably the greatest shot ever... As a kid growing up when snooker was huge his swerve shots like his ones against Kirk Stephen's were amazing...my favourites though are his pot to bend round cushion with yellow and his pink and black exhibition with willie Thorne.. He did things that amazed me as a kid that nobody else could...but jud seems to have taken it to a new level these days..
A phenomenal level of skill being shown here by this player recreating shots - v well done sir - takes years of practice to carry off and at times, make it look simple
Seriously man dont give yourself enough credit! I have watched and played snooker all my life! I wish i had one tenth of your ability, and you are blessed with ability to make content too my man! WTG
I wonder if I'll EVER make it to your map. I'm from Bahawalnagar, Pakistan, and an ardent snooker fan. Your channel's helped me a lot in sorting my technique out. ❤️
Big fan of the Whirlwind White here. I've tried to play some of this kind of shots, and the best spin I've achieved happened where I kept a strong stance and head very still on the shot even though my cue arm wants to shoot through the ceiling. Funnily enough the cue I used at the time was a Jimmy White replica, and practising these completely destroyed the tip and ferrule.
Ha ha 8.26 is hilarious! You are putting more and more power into that shot. Brilliant. Don't forget the tables used in these professional tournaments have that extra that make that extra 5% This is great stuff.
excellent video, I thought luck intervened in some famous shots but I'm proven wrong here, which is good for the game, Jimmy White and this video maker who is also a class player as well.
Great job done. You prove the reality behind the magic. I succeeded only two of them so far since an year. Back spin required a table cloth quality supreme. Weight of cue also matter to do long back spin
You have to take into consideration when Jimmy played some of those shots in the 80s, the cloths were a lot slower and balls much heavier. No one else was able to generate the level of spin Jimmy did back in the day. Balls now are a lot lighter and cloths way faster. The pockets on tournament tables are a lot tighter too.
When it comes to natural talent Jimmy is right there with Ronnie. The only difference is Jimmy always missed that one ball he should not have...peace to ya.
Just a video of 11 minutes but every snooker lover knows the hours of hardwork behind this ❤️❤️❤️❤️ love from India🇮🇳.🙌 Good efforts.
I respect your dedication to the game, especially your recreations of actual tournament shots. The differences between your table and the actual tables does make your shots even more impressive. Thanks for you enjoyable posts.
Kirk Stevens reaction to Jimmy's shot always makes me chuckle. Paul from Middlesbrough
@@Danny-fm2zn it's so wholesome eh really nice
Yea iv always loved that
Stevens made a max the frame before, is my memory right?
@@rev030974 yeah he did you're memory's fine
I have seen Jimmy trying to recreate that shot. He can't. To do that in competition...first time is a measure of what a wonderful player he was/is.
He was real class for sure. Still my favourite after all these years.
Yet again another brilliant video, can't get enough of this. You always help nurse my Saturday morning hangover lol... Cameron from Livingston west lothian
Jimmy White is the first snooker player to have a RUclips account and I just subscribed to him yesterday. Farhan from Sabah, Malaysia!
I think Shaun Murphy had one but gave up on it
He did indeed, don't know why he gave up, it was good stuff

Mate, I had to pause the video during the intro to tell you that trick shot yellow off the jaw and down the rail into the corner was superb!
A phenomenal level of skill being shown here by this player recreating shots - v well done sir - takes years of practice to carry off and at times, make it look simple

When I saw the hat I said "dang, Jimmy is serious about this channel"
Big fan but there is zero chance I'm having that on the first shot. Even if I did, no way is that an 8/10.
Hehe, he hearted it, I think he's saying that's a fair cop mate.
A couple of years ago (in 'Best shots of the 1980s' video) you were able to pot Shot E on your first attempt.
That’s not good means I must be getting worse at it
It's quite amazing to see you try all those iconic shots from the history of the game. Admirer of your work from Amritsar, India.
Even though I'm only 20, his creativity beyond imagination turned me into "play beautiful" way, not always effective. Mitya from Chernivtsi, Ukraine.🖤
