Love teddy! I have a teddy too -- he came with me when I moved from England when I was 7. Everything looks gorgeous.

Thank you Tammy. Love cozy December nights and warm lights, not those brash LED ones. Getting harder to find.

You are born in England? No wonder Christmas time is special. The British neighbours have decoration talent. So have you. I love the two bears with trendy jacket. Very cosy. And the yummie Alan cookies. Love in the living room. ❤️🧑‍🎄 from a Flemish fan

Hi Anne. Growing up it was always about tradition. We had no family in Canada so mom and dad had to celebrate with my brother and me for a couple of years, until they established new friendships. I think my father was the first person in Canada to decorate a blue and silver tree and yes, we had Christmas crackers with paper hats, tinsel and paper garlands. Hasn't Teddy aged well? When I die, two of my daughters share responsibility for his care. When I suggested he could be buried with me, my youngest was aghast and said, "Oh mom, that's Teddy. He can't die!" I laughed and said, "Hmmm...you would be more upset about Teddy?" And she said, "Yeah, mom. That IS Teddy after all." Happy Holidays to you and yours.

What a lovely vlog ... so cosy! Your decorations look perfect. Like you, I always preferred the ornaments that we collected from various places throughout the years. When we moved out of our big house a dozen years ago, we divided all the ornaments between our two kids--the ones that had special meanings for each of them. The only thing we kept was the stuffed Rudolf that he has had for the last 74 years. Now our tree just has generic ornaments. Still pretty, but I miss all the memories. I started decorating a little-put out our little tree. The big one will go up sometime next week. I put some of the outisde lights up--more to go up next week. We have to go pick up a wreath for the door and maybe a couple of poinsettias for either side of the front door. Allen sure has the magic touch with his baked goods. My mouth is watering!!!

Our daughter went to our local charity thrift shop and they were loaded with beautiful vintage Christmas ornaments. You know-from people moving on. I have two trees full so she didn't get me any but we always look for bird ornaments for the little ones. The older grandkids started this tradition when they were 4 and 6. I love vintage glass red balls but I have no more room, literally. I just say enjoy what you've got and it will all work.
