  • Welcome to EveryDay Esoteric! In this episode I interview a long time friend, Blake Dutra. He's a young man, first time father, survivor of a terrible hit and run incident, and now the drummer of a successful up and coming band that is touring the nation. He shares his story on ow he got into music, spiraled into alcohol abuse, why he got sober after his girl got pregnant and how his popular band 12 Gauge Trixie was formed.

12 Gauge Trixie’s song Head Spin is a lotta sound with the singer who reminded me of Chrissie Hynde at the start. Anyway took a lil detour haha so I’m gonna sit back and listen to this cool conversation. This part 47:14 is beautiful to hear him say this.

Am I the only one that thinks this guy looks like Anthony Kiedis from Red Hot Chili Peppers?

Absolutely, and favorite Kiedis Era as well, but it’s more less a Southern California vibe look for sure.

I love the honesty, I feel you on many levels and can relate 100 percent… I have a few regrets that keep me sober now. Keep charging!
