- Anand Vihar RRTS station is an under construction RRTS station in East Delhi district, Delhi, India which will serves mainly higher-speed trains. It is the only underground station of the Delhi-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System (Delhi Meerut RRTS). It will serve for higher-speed trains on the Delhi-Meerut RRTS that can reach speeds of up to 180 km/h.
With 25 stations, the Anand Vihar RRTS station will be accessible by 2025.
The Delhi Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System (Delhi Meerut RRTS) is an 82.15 km (51.05 mi) long rapid rail corridor that will connect Delhi, Ghaziabad and Meerut. It is one of the three rapid rail corridors planned under Phase I of the RapidX project managed by the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC). With a maximum speed of 180 km/h (110 mph), the distance between Delhi and Meerut will be covered in less than 60 minutes. The project is being executed at a cost of ₹30,274 crore (US$3.8 billion). It will have 14 stations and two depots at Duhai and Modipuram.

I left Delhi when it was still a dusty city. With none to dilapidated infra, Delhi was a painful city.
Thanks to Sheila Dixit who made a beginning to turn the city around. Now when I see it, I really don't recognize it.
Developing Delhi should be an ongoing process because no matter how much you construct, development will be many steps behind, considering the number of people using these services.

Well to look like an international Top notch city, Skyscrapers are must as even they not but still are symbol of advancement & technology in current युग।

Given the economic use of land and burgeoning population, skyscrapers are a necessity.
We don’t have an international city in India, not yet. There are economic, tourism and commercial factors that will bring hoards of people here from other countries, it’s still far.

देश के सभी नागरिकों को पता होना चाहिए कि ये प्रोजेक्ट समय से पहले ready होने वाला देश का पहला प्रोजेक्ट है।। इसमे UP और केंद्र सरकार का नियत साफ ह। नही तो delhi के cm केजरीवाल इसको बार बार delay करने का prayas किया था।।लेकिन कोर्ट के order के करण उसकी एक न चली।।

At 4.54 I notice a complete crack in the upper column on right, close to the footbridge.
Sometimes, the way a just finished cemented work looks, it makes wonder at the workmanship !
That's not a crack, these columns are made by one step at a time so this is the joint between two steps , and as far as structural strength and integrity is concerned it remains intact

That's not a crack, it's a joint caused by the second round of concrete pouring. It's a standard way how tall pillars are usually made..

One major disconcerting issue is rhe open sewers ! SHOCKING !!! This is 2024 and yet India still has this disgusting diseases and filthy causing overland open sewer systems. Many Indians fail to comprehend that these sewers along with other unhygienic practices are the reasons nor only for poor health amongst Indians but poor physique and appearances. Underground cmised sewage system was invented by Roman's in 100 BC and adopted all over the world. In 2024, extremely backward India needs to adopt this. Yes, the first 60 years post 1947 were wasted by the looting govts but now India must move ahead.
Romans didn't invented Sewar system . In 2600BCE in mohanjodaro and Harappan people also used proper seawage system but we turned to destroy our own engineering and depends on westerns . India is not a very organised country and very populous so it is very difficult to built these types of things and land encroachment is also a issue in cities , the slums and other things .
