    Very impressive to watch a master like Mark at work; thanks for sharing the experience. Always enjoy your videos at the cabin, but this was really interesting and a nice change of pace. Cracked up seeing Mark's expression after the falcon took his "dump" just like he said he would do!

    How did you get started into falconry in Canada? I’m extremely interested but don’t know where to start or know anyone who does it to learn from. I live in northern BC.

      I would Google falconry clubs in BC and they'll help you along for sure 👍🍻. Have a great weekend

    Wallace the Wirehaired 😊. I gave my Eagle the same Name - got me in Hot water and gang beat ! I dont own him anymore,and his new name is Oliver 😂 Mr Williams watching this - there is no doubt about the title" Master Falconer ""
    My respect and Falconer/Austringer greetings to you . Safe Flights !

    Dear Sir. Does Mark always fly he Falcons high above? Can you fly from Hand or T pole? Thanks

    • @JimmyMeatwhistle
      @JimmyMeatwhistle  3 года назад

      Mark prefers the high above flights. Especially using dogs to hold the Partridge in place.

      Prairie falcons can be flown either way but traditionally they're flown from a pitch. Accipiters are more suited to flights off the fist.

      Do you people mean “Waiting On” isn’t Falconry language used in the US and Canada ?

    Fantastic video, loved the views of the Prairie landscape - brought back fond memories of past "chicken" and "Huns" hunts in Saskatchewan I've been on.
    Watching actual falconry in action left me wanting more! That would be my only constructive criticism of this video - it was way too short!

      Many thanks! What a cool sport, and so involved too! Haha, "chicken" and "Huns" indeed! Thanks for the comment my friend 👍🍻

    Bruh, when it is -20, you should start your videos off by saying, "And the latest from the planet Hoth..."
